General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 18, teases that Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will keep a dangerous secret while Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) job is at risk. There’ll also be a new lead on Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett), so some exciting developments are ahead on the ABC soap.
In Brooklyn, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will make it to the music shop Marshall visited.
The shop owner may be wary of providing information and point out that Marshall perhaps didn’t want to be found.
However, TJ will be desperate to find his grandfather and will really hope the music shop owner can offer something.
In the end, Molly and TJ should walk away with info that’ll serve as another clue on the path to finding Marshall.
Back in Port Charles, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will let Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) know what TJ’s up to.
Part of Curtis may worry about TJ’s trip, but another part of him will hope Marshall’s found since he still needs answers.
As for Portia, she’ll have a lot to get off her chest when it comes to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).
Curtis will do his best to support Portia and get some support in return.
Marshall isn’t the only person close to Curtis who’s been spouting lies. When Curtis conveys that to Portia, she might briefly fear he’s somehow learned her secret.
GH fans will recall that Portia hasn’t been honest about Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) paternity, so that secret’s going to blow down the road.
May sweeps spoilers point to something triggering a memory for Jordan, who’ll find it difficult to keep Curtis in the dark.
Jordan overheard Portia’s confession months ago while they were trapped together, but she should have a memory flash soon.
In the meantime, Portia may breathe a sigh of relief when she realizes Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) is the other liar Curtis is talking about.
Although Curtis won’t be happy about Stella’s deception, he’ll get that she was going along with his parents’ wishes and should hold them more responsible.
Over with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), she’ll pressure Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) to come clean about her drug deal with Felty (Brian Norris) the paparazzo.
Gladys has the pills to prove it and will think Sasha needs to admit she’s hooked again.
While Sasha makes a painful admission, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will catch up with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) while they work on Sonny’s car.
There’ll be some talk about Sasha as well as talk about Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) plot against his own father.
Brando will get that family matters can be complicated, but he may hold out hope for reconciliation in time. Unfortunately, Michael could make it tough for Sonny to forgive if he takes this scheme to destroy his dad too far.
As for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), she’ll face a new threat from a familiar foe.
Linc Brown (Dan Buran) just returned and will inevitably start making demands, so Chase will fume and try to get rid of this music producer dirtbag.
However, Brook Lynn will remind Chase that he’s so close to getting reinstated at the PCPD.
The last thing Brook Lynn wants is for Chase to attack Linc and extend his suspension or even get fired.
Chase’s job will be at stake if he pushes too hard here, so Brook Lynn will urge him to back off and let her fight her own battles.
It’ll be hard for Chase to leave Brook Lynn hanging, so he may monitor the situation behind the scenes and try to work out a solution.
General Hospital spoilers say Chase and Brook Lynn’s future is still bright, but Linc will be the latest snag on the path to romance.
