General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 2, reveals that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) had a hook revelation while fans learned Reiko Finn (Mele Ihara) had a deadly blood transfusion. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was also promised an exclusive story, so here’s how all the GH action played out.
In Monterey, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) initially refused to believe Jeff Webber (William Moses) and Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby), but then her memories came flooding back. Liz no longer wanted to remember, but Carolyn suggested they could do this together.
Elizabeth recalled fighting with Reiko at the top of the staircase and threatening to tell Carolyn as well as Reiko’s husband about the affair. Reiko grabbed Liz and insisted she couldn’t do that, so there was a struggle that ended with Reiko flying down the stairs.
Liz finally accepted that she was responsible and found out Reiko suffered a concussion as well as internal bleeding. Reiko needed a blood transfusion, which is how she contracted the disease that killed her.
Elizabeth was horrified over causing Reiko’s death, but Jeff and Carolyn knew she never meant for any of this to happen. Liz suffered from nightmares and sleepwalked to the point that they feared for her safety, so she was given meds – and Carolyn coached her on how to forget.
Elizabeth realized she’d essentially been brainwashed and sent away, but Carolyn and Jeff were adamant that they did this out of love. They didn’t want the whole thing to come screaming back and cause them to lose Liz forever.
Elizabeth felt she was drugged, programmed and kicked out to protect her parents’ precious reputations, so she said she hoped it was worth it and stormed out.
Back in Port Charles, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) stopped Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) from spilling anything about their romance to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). After discussing the insider trading situation privately, Drew and Carly basically agreed they had to sneak around for now.
As for Sam, she warned Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to do away with Society Setups, but then she decided the algorithm could be useful for getting the goods on Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Spinelli agreed to help Sam uncover Cody’s true motives and see what he was all about.
At Carly’s place, Trina ate popcorn with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who admitted to sleeping with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) again. Unfortunately, that didn’t fix the distance Josslyn felt – and she feared opening up to Cameron would only make things worse.
Trina argued that Josslyn couldn’t let Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) ruin things, but Josslyn couldn’t blame all of this on Esme since she kept secrets along with Cam.
After Josslyn pushed for details on Trina’s weekend with Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse), Trina confessed to almost sleeping with him before pumping the brakes. When Trina admitted to thinking about Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) in bed, Josslyn thought it obvious that she still had feelings for him.
Josslyn also mentioned that Trina was all Spencer could talk about during her visit to Pentonville with Cameron. Trina realized that’s why Spencer called, but she acknowledged that she missed it since her phone was on “do not disturb.”
Although Josslyn believed Spencer had a good heart, she wasn’t sure he deserved Trina. Since hearts could lead people astray, Josslyn thought they should listen to their heads right now. Trina agreed to focus on the good guy right in front of her and felt Josslyn should do the same with Cameron.
At Charlie’s Pub, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) worried about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) opening Pandora’s box since anything connected to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was toxic. Obrecht was also curious about Cody’s involvement when he showed up and suggested the gems seemed genuine.
In a moment alone, Britt defended Cody to Liesl and felt he shouldn’t be judged for past mistakes. Obrecht wondered if Britt had confided her diagnosis to Cody, but Britt said they were both entitled to their privacy.
Meanwhile, Cody did his best to patch things up with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) since he punched him when they first met.
There was talk about Cody wanting to stick around Port Charles, especially since he could be Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) son. Liesl ultimately insisted Cody couldn’t go in conflicting directions and had to make up his mind.
Later, Britt had a coughing fit, so Cody assumed something must’ve gone down the wrong way. Britt looked pensive as she mentioned that it’d been happening a lot lately.
In Alexis’ office, she opened a letter from “The Hook” and summoned Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) along with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). The letter was postmarked just before Oz Haggerty’s (Max Faugno) attack and referenced being off to see the wizard.
“The Hook” also confirmed that she wasn’t hungry for fame and that the attacks weren’t random. Only people who wronged her met “The Hook’s” venom – though Alexis could be a target if she didn’t back off.
Dante noticed that the note seemed to be written on an old typewriter with some misplaced letters – especially the Os. There were details in this letter that hadn’t been made public, so Jordan admitted she thought it was legit and that it tracked with the pattern they suspected.
Alexis suggested publishing this letter in the next edition of The Invader, but Jordan shut her down fast. However, Jordan did agree to an exclusive interview down the line if Alexis would sit on this information.
Although Jordan warned Alexis not to breathe a word to anyone, Alexis secretly called Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) to her office afterward. Gregory got updates on “The Hook” threatening Alexis to mind her own business and insisting she was going after the people who wronged her.
Once Gregory read a copy of the letter, Alexis filled him in on Jordan’s offer for an exclusive story. If Jordan didn’t deliver on that promise, then Alexis said the deal would be off.
Back with Jordan, she showed up at Carly’s place. Josslyn answered the door with Trina, so Jordan confessed she needed to see them both.
After Jordan joined the girls in the house, Carly appeared with Drew and stole a secret kiss with him outside.
Next, Carly found Jordan with Josslyn and Trina, so she wondered what was going on. Jordan revealed the PCPD had evidence that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was not the intended target that night – Josslyn was.
Josslyn realized Brando was collateral damage, so Trina put it together that everyone attacked so far had a connection to her.
