General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 23, reveals that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) offered bio mom search help while Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) stole the necklace through an elaborate scheme.
At the boxing gym, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) got a call from a reporter who’d been investigating the commune.
Unfortunately, they vanished into the desert and were never heard from again.
Drew urged the reporter to keep searching for answers since someone must know something about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
When Sonny arrived, he said it sounded like Drew hit a dead end.
Drew admitted that it was starting to seem impossible, but he was looking for Willow’s biological mother.
Sonny acted offended that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was getting help from Drew instead of him before talk turned to Carly.
After Sonny revealed that he knew about Carly and Drew’s romance, he suggested exes came with complex emotions. That said, Sonny wanted Carly to be happy.
At the Metro Court, Carly confronted Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about all the lies she’d been spreading about her family.
The only homewrecker Carly saw was standing right in front of her!
Carly grabbed some soup off a nearby server’s platter and acted like she might pour it on Nina’s head, but she ultimately decided against it.
Once Drew and Sonny appeared, Carly got confirmation that Drew was searching for Willow’s birth parents.
Carly thought back to her DNA results lie and suggested it’d be like searching for a needle in a haystack, but she smiled and offered to help.
At Kelly’s, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) got updates on the letter to the civilian complaint review board that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was supposed to write by next week.
Chase worried that maybe Brook Lynn changed her mind about sending it or never intended to at all.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) didn’t want to cause trouble and acted like maybe Brook Lynn didn’t tell Chase because she didn’t want to get his hopes up.
Nearby, Linc Brown (Dan Buran) offered to return all Brook Lynn’s unsold music as long as she kept quiet about the women he’d harassed.
Linc also wanted Brook Lynn to paint a different picture of him in interviews and change the narrative to combat any bad press.
Brook Lynn was hesitant to accept the deal, but Linc acted like she’d be left with nothing if she didn’t – and Chase would just be a popstar wannabe without a badge.
Chase eventually walked over and commented on the intense conversation, but Brook Lynn insisted they were good and that she was clear on what to do now. Linc knew he could count on “Brookie.”
Once Linc walked away, Chase told Brook Lynn it wasn’t too late and trusted her to do what was right for both of them.
At GH, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) found out all the difficult details of Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) Huntington’s disease prognosis.
Obrecht suggested they could get other opinions and try experimental treatments, but Britt needed a mom right now instead of a doctor.
Liesl blamed herself and thought her Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) obsession did this, but Britt insisted it was just the genetic luck of the draw.
There were lots of hugs and tears as Britt ultimately urged Obrecht to go home to Scott. Right now, Britt just needed to embrace being alone.
On the pier, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) found Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) with a hummingbird cake.
Martin reflected on Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) taking the time to perfect the recipe and remained upset over Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) murdering her.
However, Valentin defended Anna and ultimately had a realization. Anna was skilled enough that she wouldn’t need two bullets, especially at close range.
Valentin pointed out that the second casing was never found. Although Martin questioned what that meant, Valentin suggested that if he figured it out, that’d be the way to save Anna.
Valentin eventually led Martin away so they could learn what really happened to Lucy.
Back at the Metro Court, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) offered to buy Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) a drink and heard all about the necklace in the briefcase handcuffed to his wrist.
Over with Holly, she demanded something over the phone and planned to use it to get the necklace she was after.
Once Holly joined Robert’s table, she exchanged introductions with Diane and ordered tequila shots.
Holly then picked up a vial from Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) henchman and swapped out the saltshaker that was on the table for one of her own.
Robert sucked the salt with his tequila shots and lime, but he became rather dazed soon after and let his head fall as he passed out on the table.
Holly acted like Robert wasn’t as young as he used to be and couldn’t hold his shots.
Although Robert was supposed to meet the WSB, Holly suggested he should sleep it off in a room and was in no shape to do any business.
Holly led Robert away, so Diane informed a nearby employee of the situation for when the WSB came.
Diane also left Robert a worried voicemail before he showed back up on the elevator – still dazed and now without the briefcase on his wrist.
Elsewhere, Holly looked at the necklace she’d managed to retrieve thanks to the plan. As other GH news comes in, we’ll keep you posted.
General Hospital spoilers say Holly’s upcoming meeting with Victor won’t go as expected, so stay tuned!
