General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, October 12, tease that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will consider her baby a get-out-of-jail-free card while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) makes a power play. Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will also land in danger, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
Once Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) realizes the plot is going south, she’ll panic and insist Lucy needs to get out of there now.
Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will continue to eavesdrop through that listening device, so they’ll grow increasingly concerned.
Deputy Mayor Ashby (Heather Mazur) has alerted Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to trouble, so Lucy won’t have a chance to ask any more questions about his plans.
While Victor’s off dealing with drama, Johann (Max Decker) will ultimately block Lucy’s path and insist she’s not leaving until he’s done.
Perhaps Johann will have a hunch Lucy’s involved in some shady business, so he could keep her around while he does a sweep for listening devices in the new room.
Whatever the case, Anna and Valentin will definitely fear for Lucy’s safety.
In the meantime, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will make an admission to Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and wonder if it’s a problem.
Cam will decide it kind of is, so this will no doubt involve Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and the time Joss has been spending with him.
Although Cameron trusts Josslyn, he certainly doesn’t trust Dex. Joss may defend Dex as a good guy who’s got a bad boss, but Cameron won’t want his girlfriend tangled up in any risky mob mayhem.
After Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) reiterates that Dex has Sonny right where he wants him, we’ll see Michael cross paths with Cameron.
That’ll lead to Cam and Michael agreeing about something, so they may be on the same page about Dex and Josslyn keeping their distance from each other.
In Jacksonville, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will wonder if Carly’s ready to go before the city council.
Carly will suggest the better question is if they’re ready for her, so she’ll express confidence ahead of her power play.
Fortunately, Carly will indeed impress the city council with her passionate speech to save the cemetery.
You can bet Drew will be beaming with pride by the time this meeting winds down.
Other GH spoilers say Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will give Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) some guidance.
Ava knows what it’s like to have an estranged child since she wasn’t on good terms with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) when she died.
That’ll help Ava relate to Sonny, who couldn’t convince Michael to meet him halfway.
Sonny will look furious as he insists nothing’s going to change Michael’s mind, but Ava may warn him to be careful about making vengeful moves he can’t take back.
At Wyndemere, Esme will continue to show off the baby bump she just revealed.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) may doubt that the baby is even his, but Esme will surely be willing to consent to a paternity test when the time comes.
Esme will consider this baby her get-out-of-jail-free card, but Nikolas will still manage to gain an advantage over his pregnant ex-lover.
