General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, September 14 Recap – Kristina Eyewitness to Brando’s Attack – Carly Stranded in Florida

general hospital spoilers

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 14, reveals that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) was an eyewitness to Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) attack while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) got stranded in Florida.

At the airport in Jacksonville, Carly found out no flights were taking off due to bad weather. That led to Carly striking up a conversation with an older woman, who felt like maybe Carly was running from something or someone.

Carly realized she’d forgotten her phone on the plane and was told she’d have to look for it in lost and found. Although Carly was eager to get away from Jacksonville when she was younger, the woman suggested maybe there was something good there for her now.

Once Carly learned her flight was officially canceled, the woman said it looked like Carly was spending the night as a guest of the airlines and welcomed her home.

At the Port Charles Grill, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) left a voicemail for Carly right as Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) entered with Scout Cain. Drew spent a little time with Scout before she played a game at a nearby table – giving Drew and Sam a chance to talk about their love lives.

Sam admitted she caught part of Drew’s voicemail. After Sam found out about Carly’s Aruba trip for the executive leadership seminar, she hinted that Carly could mix business with pleasure.

Drew was happy for Sam now that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had moved in, so he embraced her. That led to Scout asking why her parents were hugging, so Sam and Drew said they were friends and would always be a family with Scout.

In another moment alone, Drew suggested timing was an issue with Carly, but he was glad Sam had no problem with their spark and connection.

At GH, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) debated whether Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) had intentionally sabotaged the divorce. Curtis eventually quizzed TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) about Jordan’s love life and left TJ curious about why this was coming up now.

At Charlie’s Pub, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) seemed on edge over Brando stepping out. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) knew Sasha was still getting used to the guardianship idea, but he assured her that she could always rely on Brando.

Outside in the alley, Kristina caught the attacker standing over Brando preparing to plunge the hook again. After Kristina screamed, the assailant ran off – leaving Kristina to frantically call for someone to help Brando.

Sonny eventually rushed out and put pressure on the wound while Kristina called 911. Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) took over applying pressure while Sasha had an emotional meltdown and begged Brando not to leave her.

The paramedics arrived and said they were losing Brando, but they managed to get a pulse and took him to the hospital. Sasha and Gladys went with Brando while Kristina and Sonny stuck around to answer the cops’ questions.

Kristina confessed she couldn’t see the attacker’s face, especially in all the rain. Sonny was adamant that after everything else Brando had survived, he was going to make it.

At the hospital again, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) asked if Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) was the one who tried to kill her. Nik defended his attempt to protect Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) with that alibi and thought Ava believed him deep down.

Ava threw the hit on Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) in Nikolas’ face, but he acted like they’d both done horrible things and brought up how she switched Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) meds for placebos.

Nikolas argued that if he’d wanted to kill Ava, he’d have done it with his bare hands. In Nikolas’ opinion, this level of honesty in their relationship was a good thing.

Nikolas argued that they were made for each other, so Ava admitted she still wanted him – even if she didn’t want that to be true.

Ava once again ranted about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), so Nikolas owned the fact that he was a cad, a rat and a liar. Nik felt they could still make something good out of this nightmare if they did it together.

In Jordan’s office, she fished for info over the phone about the removed identity from the ancestry database and how to find that match.

Jordan didn’t get anywhere and ended up turning her attention to Dante’s arrival. There was talk about the hook missing from the Quartermaine boathouse and how it was likely the weapon used to spear Ava.

Jordan wanted to go back over the statements and see which ones held up. Dante offered to stay and help, but she didn’t want him to spend too much time away from Sam.

After Dante mentioned Curtis and Portia’s engagement, he checked on Jordan. The commissioner was just ready to move on and wanted to pick Dante’s brain about a case of mistaken identity sometime – though perhaps it was no mistake at all.

A call then came in about another stabbing in the alley behind the pub. Jordan said the eyewitness claimed the weapon appeared to be a hook, so Dante rushed over to the crime scene with her.

Once Dante and Jordan showed up, Sonny pointed out that Kristina had already given her statement to the officer on duty. Kristina wanted to be with Brando at GH, so Jordan agreed to let her answer more questions later.

Sonny planned to head to the hospital as well, so Dante said to tell Sasha and Brando that he was thinking of them.

Once Jordan and Dante did some investigating, they puzzled over the link between Ava and Brando’s incidents. Jordan worried that they needed to figure out some answers before the attacker struck again.

Next, Brando received urgent medical care and had a lung that was collapsing. Curtis reassured Gladys and Sasha about Brando being in good hands since TJ and Portia were on staff.

Sasha commented on how pale Brando was and said she needed him so much. “Brando can’t die…he just can’t!” Sasha wailed. Gladys also got out her rosary beads and began praying for Brando’s recovery.

Kristina showed up just as Brando was wheeled to the OR. Sasha tried to give unconscious Brando comforting words and cried as Gladys held her by the elevator.

Back with Sonny, he caught Nikolas in Ava’s room. That led to Sonny’s revelation that he knew Nikolas wasn’t the one who attacked Ava.
