General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of April 18-22 tease that Brendon Byrne’s (Josh Coxx) horrific murder will bring a bombshell – and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) make a bold territory move to show authority. Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) secrets will also be exposed, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
First, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will spend some time mulling over her matches for Society Setups – and she’ll get Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) advice as she tries to nail down her perfect date.
Of course, Britt will have to decide whether she’s going to reveal Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) latest threat or keep her mouth shut.
Britt may choose the latter since she seems awfully nervous about the possibility of Selina sending her back to prison.
Over with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll have some news to report.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will hear about Anna’s trip to French Polynesia and her suspicion that Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) was framed.
Later, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will pop up with an apology to make, so he may reveal that he was the mysterious captain and explain exactly what he was up to with that plot against Jennifer.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will also sense that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is deep in thought when she finds him on the pier.
That pier will also serve as a spot for a shocker when Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) makes a ghastly discovery – presumably Brendon’s dead body!
Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) will hang out with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and connect like everything’s fine.
In reality, Harmony should be covering up Brendon’s murder along with all her other horrible crimes.
We’ll eventually see the guilty and pressure take a toll on Harmony, who’ll nearly spill some of her secrets.
However, Harmony will manage to hide the truth – though Alexis will still wonder what’s up with her since Harmony will be so on edge.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will get into an argument with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) at work, but that could be more about the personal pressure Liz is dealing with due to all the stalker chaos.
Liz considers Portia to be a good friend, so she may be sorry she lashed out later.
It’ll apparently be a tense week for Portia all around since she’ll also clash with Jordan.
It looks like Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will tackle a friendlier form of sparring at the boxing gym, which will give them a chance to catch up with each other’s lives.
Back with Britt, she’ll have a heartfelt conversation with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) while Esme Prince (Avery Kirsten Pohl) gets encouragement from Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
Esme should love the chance to draw Nikolas even closer.
Laura will have some suspicions to share, so those may tie in with Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) agenda.
Elsewhere, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will pass along a warning to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) while Cameron Webber (William Lipton) blunders big time.
It turns out Cameron will say something he shouldn’t during a chat with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
When Joss demands answers about what Cam meant, he’ll dig an even bigger hole for himself and cause a major fight.
Cameron will do some commiserating with Spencer in the aftermath while Sonny makes a bold move to show he’s in charge.
Sonny will feel like he needs to prove his authority, so he’ll do something that reaffirms his position as head of his territory.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will tackle a surveillance mission of some sort – one that’ll bring a big surprise.
Britt should get a surprise of her own when she eavesdrops on Drew while waiting for her matchmaking service date.
There’ll be some awkwardness when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) bumps into Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), but they’ll try to push past some previous conflict.
We’ll also see an incident at The Savoy that leaves Jordan wondering what really went down.
Curtis will demand what he asked for, so it sounds like Selina will have to hand over the dirt on Marshall if she expects those poker nights to pan out.
Although Selina should deliver what she promised, Curtis may be sorry he asked on some level!
As for Marshall, he’ll reach a significant decision. Marshall may decide to come clean once and for all, but it sounds like he’ll be too late to make a full confession.
The fact that Curtis had to uncover the truth of Marshall’s past through Selina should make him even angrier.
Liz and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will continue to investigate the stalker drama while a celebration gets underway across town.
Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) adoption of Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) will become official, so that’ll be a good enough reason for a party with the Qs!
