General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of April 18-22 teases that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will offer a fake story – and a Quartermaine celebration is coming up later. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also eavesdrop on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), so here’s what GH fans can expect.
First, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will feud with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) at work, but she may end up apologizing in the aftermath.
Liz is struggling with all the stalker drama and has been having trouble sleeping, so that could lead to some cranky confusion on the job.
At the boxing gym, it looks like Drew will spar with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) in the ring and get updates on all the Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) drama.
Speaking of Nina, she’ll have a warning to pass along during a discussion with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
Nina may worry that pushing Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) away could be a mistake.
Nina might warn Ava about the danger of pushing too hard and suggest that’d just be giving Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) the upper hand.
Esme will spend more time with Nikolas, who’ll offer a pep talk and perhaps suggest everything will work out with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
However, Spencer is actually plotting to expose Esme’s frame-up and clear Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) name.
When Cameron Webber (William Lipton) nearly blabs to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Spencer will think fast and distract Cam with a negative accusation about Joss.
Although Spencer will be downright cruel with this comment, he’ll view it as a desperate move to contain his secret plot.
Cameron will think Spencer went too far, so he’ll deck him and cause a public spectacle.
Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) will spot the incident, so he’ll throw Spencer and Cameron in jail!
As for Britt, she’ll make a decision about Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) blackmail and whether she’ll let it drive her actions with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen).
Brad will also select his top Society Setups for Britt as she plans a sizzling date.
Later, Britt will await her date’s arrival – and that’ll offer the opportunity to eavesdrop on Drew’s conversation with someone.
It’ll be interesting to find out what Britt hears and how she might use it to her advantage.
Next, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will make a gutsy move to prove he’s still the main mob boss around Port Charles.
That could lead to some huge risks and some eventual backlash, so Sonny needs to be careful.
On the pier, Selina will pass along some information to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) regarding Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett).
Based on Selina’s findings, she’ll know for a fact that Marshall was never in witness protection.
After Selina spills everything she’s learned, Curtis will fume over his father’s secrets. Marshall will finally be ready to come clean, but it’ll be a little late for that!
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will also find a deeply dismaying shocker on the pier which appears to be the dead body of Brendon Byrne (Josh Coxx).
Harmony will consider bolting after that cliff faceoff with Brendon Byrne (Josh Coxx), but she’ll decide to stay and keep building on her bond with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
As for Valentin, he’ll spin a bogus story to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about why he hasn’t been in touch.
Valentin has supposedly been receiving treatment for a blood infection elsewhere, but Anna will notice he’s awfully tan!
GH fans know Valentin was actually embroiled in all the Ice Princess chaos on French Polynesia, but he won’t share the details of that little adventure with Anna – at least not yet.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will face a surprise of some sort while he’s on surveillance duty at Liz’s place.
We’ll see whether that involves the cameras Chase is placing around the house or perhaps another creepy incident that slips by him.
Across town, a party will get underway for the Quartermaine family.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will officially adopt Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda), so that’ll definitely bring a good reason to celebrate.
