General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of August 22-26 tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will face a dangerous situation while Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) offers a love potion. There’ll be some romantic picnic surprises, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
As the Quartermaines host a picnic for charity, several romances will take center stage.
Since Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will be struggling to get on the same page about their future, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will want to help.
Olivia will team up with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) on a plan to secure Dante and Sam’s commitment.
Leo will become part of the fun by mixing up a special drink that’ll basically serve as a love potion.
Later, Dante will do an about-face on something. We’ll see Dante change his mind, so that should involve his relationship with Sam.
Could Dante decide to rush a marriage proposal or something along those lines?
Dante could at least become less patient on the idea of living together and push Sam to see that they should take the next step.
One way or another, Sam and Dante should get their future back on track.
After Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) comes up with a scheme to contain the Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) chaos, he’ll try to reconnect with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
That plan may involve a trip to this picnic, but Ava and Nikolas will spend much of their day bickering!
Once Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) as a follow-up appointment with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll know it’s time to open up to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Willow will indeed confess her leukemia diagnosis and get Michael’s support.
This picnic will also bring Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) closer, so Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) may catch a glimpse of the bonding and end up miserable.
Other GH spoilers say Carly and Drew will strengthen their connection, but they’ll have a hard time making a romantic leap.
It turns out Drew and Carly will land in a dangerous situation later, so that could make them throw any romantic fears out the window.
Once Carly and Drew make it out of peril, they may decide to tackle a deeper relationship head-on.
As for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he’ll have a confession to make regarding his feelings.
It sounds like Chase will finally share what’s in his heart when it comes to Brook Lynn, who may admit she feels the same way.
Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) will also have a new crush in Port Charles, so some fresh flying sparks should be on the way.
Elsewhere, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will worry about the possibility of getting busted.
It’ll seem like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is growing too suspicious, so Dex may worry about his ability to safely keep working for Michael.
Speaking of safety, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will make it clear that Ava’s could be at risk if she messes with the Cassadine clan.
Ava will have to stay in line if she expects Victor to keep protecting her.
Across town, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will face off with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) over Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and why she refuses to talk about her father.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will continue her plot to expose Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) secrets in the meantime, so she’ll recruit Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to gather info from Victor.
During another round of family drama, Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) will spar with Mason (Nathanyael Grey).
Austin will want his cousin to back off, but Mason will deliver some worsening threats instead.
Back with Spencer, he’ll learn the shocking truth. Could Victor spill the beans about Esme’s fate?
Whatever the case, Spencer may soon find out Nikolas slept with Esme and set a stunning chain reaction in motion.
After Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) makes an admission, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) may consider following through on her breakup ultimatum.
Liz doesn’t want Finn bringing up her parents again, but he may do just that and even take the betrayal a step further.
By then, Elizabeth may find out that Finn has reached out to her dad, Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson).
That news could be what triggers a startling flashback for Liz since a difficult one is indeed coming up.
