General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap review for the week of December 12-16 reveals that fans had to bid farewell to Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) after “The Hook” claimed another victim. Rory didn’t survive the fatal stabbing, which left Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) devastated over the sudden loss.
Tabyana Ali gave a wonderful performance as she played all Trina’s complex emotions.
Although Trina didn’t love Rory the way she loves Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), she cared for Rory and hated to see someone so compassionate taken so young.
Of course, we can’t blame GH writers for killing Rory off since the character was invented as an obstacle for Trina and Spencer.
Now that Spencer is out of prison, it was wise to wipe Rory off the map and make him another hook victim for the emotional impact.
This should pave the way for Spencer to comfort Trina and bond with her as they try to make the killer pay.
However, Spencer needs to get his impulsive side under control and grow up a little if he expects to ever be worthy of Trina.
That punch Spencer threw at Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) was totally uncalled for, but at least Dex was smart enough to walk away before things escalated any further.
Spencer risked his freedom immediately after his prison release, so he needs to show some restraint and just calm down in general!
However, Spencer’s instant hatred provided a new enemy for Dex and added to the “us against the world” setup that’s coming with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Once Dex and Josslyn finally get together, they’ll have to stand against plenty of naysayers and tons of disapproval.
In the meantime, we should discuss Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and how she went way overboard in her plot to hide the birth mom truth from Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Willow is a grown woman, not some toddler who needs to be protected.
Carly paid Denise McKenzie (Alex Rietveld) twice to make sure Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) got all the bogus news he was after.
It just seems excessive for Carly to go to such great lengths, especially when she knows how badly Willow wants to find her biological family.
Carly doesn’t have updates on Willow’s leukemia diagnosis and bone marrow donor hunt yet, but Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) now knows the real story.
General Hospital spoilers say Drew and Carly’s secret-keeping will lead to more complications as this storyline moves along, so don’t miss what’s in store!
