General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of December 12-16 teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will come to the rescue while Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) gets a big surprise. Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) sabotage will also hit a snag, so let’s talk about what’s coming up. The new preview promo video for the week of December 16 shows GH fans that The Hook strikes again!
Now that we know Heather Webber (Alley Mills) was once carrying Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) child, it’s clear that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) is the biological daughter they share.
Heather may have thought she could give Esme up for adoption without Ryan ever knowing, but he figured it out.
Of course, Ryan won’t want Heather spilling anything about Esme or the baby she’s pregnant with if he happens to mention that!
Speaking of babies, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will pretend she’s expecting Nikolas’ unborn child since Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has the wrong idea.
Nikolas is sure to freak when he finds out Liz sold this shocking lie, but it’ll be the best thing she can do in that moment.
As for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), she’ll have a hard time getting Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) out of her thoughts.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) will offer some guidance before she eventually makes a stunning discovery.
It sounds like Ava will become privy to Liz’s pregnancy lie, so she’ll fume over Nikolas sleeping with yet another woman.
Ava will prepare for battle after this Nikolas and Liz shocker, but the truth is far worse since captive Esme is the one carrying Nik’s kid.
Although Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will seek answers about the commune and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) time there as a baby, Denise McKenzie (Alex Reitveld) may not be able to provide a lot of information.
Carly might even make sure of that, but her sabotage will run into a snag later. Could that involve Willow confiding her leukemia diagnosis?
If Willow admits she needs a bone marrow donor, that could raise the stakes and make Carly second-guess this whole sabotage thing.
Next, Nina will deal with some doubts about how exactly she fits in Sonny’s life.
Sonny will have to offer plenty of reassurance and convince Nina their future is bright.
Unfortunately, Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) own future is bleak, so she’ll continue planning one last birthday blowout and may confess the truth to Brad sooner or later.
Brad knows something major is up, so Britt may not be able to hide her Huntington’s disease for much longer.
Whatever the case, Britt’s gesture will surprise Brad and leave him feeling deeply moved.
There may be something related to Britt’s will or some donation that she makes in Brad’s name.
Britt will find some strategy to show Brad how much she cares, so they’ll share some sweet moments.
Back with Sonny, he’ll come to Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) rescue and give her some comforting words.
Even if Sonny isn’t sure exactly what’s wrong, he’ll step up for Obrecht when she really needs some support.
Other GH spoilers say a tragedy will become the talk of the town.
That could be as simple as Willow’s leukemia news spreading, but the weekly video promo for December 12 – 16 indicates that The Hook will finally strike again.
Elizabeth will fear the worst possible outcome while Trina faces devastation, so it’s possible Cameron will get injured in an attack.
Regardless, there’ll be a reason for some doom and gloom in Port Charles, so stick with us for updates.
