General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of December 19-23 tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will unleash her wrath, so Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will blame Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) for Ava’s fury. Liz’s pregnancy lie will make quite a mess and leave Ava determined to get revenge.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will end up checking in with Ava, who may fill them in on Nik’s despicable behavior.
Later, Ava and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will do some bonding, so that could be over the pain of betrayal.
Next, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will have a meeting with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), so he may get her to recap everything Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) told her about the commune.
Drew will get updates from Alexis and work on a new theory, so he’ll hope it leads to some of Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) potential living relatives.
Now that Drew knows Willow has leukemia and needs a bone marrow donor match, he also knows how important this search is.
Carly should remain in the dark for a while based on the promise Drew gave Willow.
Of course, Carly will keep secrets of her own since she already knows Nina is Willow’s biological mother.
Nevertheless, Carly will keep quiet and will ultimately get some news that fills her with relief.
There’ll be a tight spot that Carly wiggles out of, but you can bet more predicaments are brewing.
Back with Alexis, she’ll have some guidance for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), so he’ll put her words of wisdom to good use.
Other GH spoilers say Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will deliver a difficult blow to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), so it sounds like she’ll be out of luck if she thinks he’s cooled off.
Chase should push Brook Lynn away both personally and professionally despite her attempts to right her wrongs.
Nevertheless, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will corner Chase for answers and perhaps give him a nudge in the direction of forgiveness.
Afterward, Chase will get honest with Brook Lynn about where he stands.
We’ll see Chase try to explain why Brook Lynn’s actions hurt so badly, but can she make things up to him somehow?
It’s possible since there’ll undoubtedly be some Christmas miracles happening in Port Charles.
Look for the Quartermaines to open gifts together while Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) gives Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) a sentimental present his son will never forget.
Over with Spencer again, he’ll come together with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) for some brainstorming, so we’ll see if that’s related to “The Hook” case.
Meanwhile, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will realize Nikolas’ life has blown up, so she’ll enjoy his suffering and will certainly rub it in.
Nina will also meet up with Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) and confess what’s on her mind.
It seems significant that Phyllis is coming back on the scene right as the search for Willow’s bio family is heating him.
Phyllis knows key information about Harmony’s past in New York since they worked at the same building – the one where comatose Nina was cared for.
Plus, Phyllis knows Harmony was close to Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills), so that connection to Nina’s mom could come back into play.
Elsewhere, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will get brutally honest with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), who may remain in the doghouse with her.
Austin will rely on Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) expert opinion later, so we’ll see if she can help him patch things up with Maxie.
Nina will eventually tackle a challenge with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), so that could involve supporting Britt in some way – like birthday party prep since Britt shouldn’t have to do everything on her own.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also get assistance from Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), so that’ll bring another opportunity to grow closer.
Across town, Sonny will rise to the challenge with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and help her with a significant task.
Sonny will save Sasha from having to handle something all on her own, so this could involve a way to remember Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Liam Corbin this Christmas.
