General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview video for the week of December 19-23 reveals that some holiday excitement is on the way in Port Charles. There’ll be bad blood for some families and some uplifting moments for others, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on ABC’s GH.
For starters, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will fume after Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) claims he cheated on Ava Jerome (Maura West) again – with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) this time.
Although Spencer has always blamed Ava for the problems in his own relationship with Nikolas, he’ll start to think maybe he was wrong.
Spencer won’t even recognize Nikolas anymore and will feel like he should keep his distance from now on.
Once Spencer thinks long and hard about all the Cassadine chaos, he’ll want no part of it.
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will call this the perfect holiday to maximize family dysfunction and will suspect Spencer’s got a lot on his mind.
After Spencer opens up a bit, he’ll get some advice about how to become his own man away from the Cassadines.
Alexis will urge Spencer to find some hobbies he enjoys and make a happier life for himself, but Spencer won’t be sure how to do that.
Even so, there’s one thing Spencer can be certain of – and that’s his love for Trina!
Spencer will show up on Trina’s doorstep later to comfort her over Rory Cabrera’s (Michael Blake Kruse) death and mull over how to stop “The Hook.”
It also looks like Trina will get a winter wonderland surprise from Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Marshall Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
The house will be decked out in gorgeous snowy Christmas decorations as the gang lifts Trina’s spirits with a small gathering.
There’ll be another holiday event in Rice Plaza, so Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will dress as an elf and spread some seasonal cheer.
Other GH spoilers say Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will deliver some news that can’t wait, so could Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) finally get what he wants – just in time for Christmas?
Although the civilian complaint review board denied Chase’s appeal, Brook Lynn has secretly been trying to pull strings – and miracles do happen this time of year on soaps.
Chase isn’t giving up on his dream of being a cop again, so we’ll see how things work out for him.
As for Chase’s future with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), Dante may give him a nudge back in his ex’s direction.
Finally, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will sidestep some trouble related to Denise McKenzie (Alex Rietveld) and the phony updates she’s been spreading about Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) biological mother.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will have a close call with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but she’ll still manage to have a merry Christmas with him in the aftermath.
