General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap review for the week of December 5-9 reveals hypocrite Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was stuck in Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) denial while jealous Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) had terrible timing. Let’s talk about a couple of GH characters who faced some struggles.
For starters, it was good to finally see Josslyn battling some inner turmoil over Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
Josslyn seems like she’s forgotten she has a boyfriend sometimes, but she got a big reminder of her mistakes.
There’s no excuse for Josslyn’s poor treatment of Cameron Webber (William Lipton) when she could just be honest and break things off.
Even if Josslyn doesn’t want to open up about Dex, Cameron deserves to know she’s not connecting with him like she used to.
Josslyn appeared to realize she was a bit of a hypocrite during her faceoff with Nina, who basically talked about falling for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) when everything was telling her it was wrong.
Although Josslyn blurted out that she was nothing like Nina, her Dex flashbacks told a different story. Josslyn was clearly guilt-tripping herself in that moment.
In other words, Josslyn’s in denial and is more like Nina than she’d like to admit!
Despite insisting she didn’t use deceit to get what she wanted, Josslyn has been lying to Cameron and apparently herself.
As for Spencer, he had a case of terrible timing.
Spencer finally got out of Pentonville, but he arrived at the Port Charles Grill just in time to overhear Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) tell Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) that he loved her.
Of course, Spencer also had to watch Rory hand over a romantic gift and make heart eyes at the woman they both want.
It was obvious that Spencer was jealous and wishing he could be the one doting on Trina.
Spencer cornered Trina in hopes of starting over, but she was reluctant to give him that clean slate since so much has happened.
Trina will get there eventually, but Spencer was forced to sulk and feel sorry for himself for now.
General Hospital spoilers say Trina and Spencer’s fate seems to be written in the stars, so they’ll come together when the time is right.
