General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of January 10-14 teases that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will call an emergency meeting while Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) makes a discovery. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also need Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) help, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At Crimson, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will expect Nina to be straight with her.
Carly may demand the truth about everything Nina did with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in Nixon Falls and warn that nothing else can ever happen between them.
Of course, Nina will feel like that’s up to Sonny! She’s getting bolder about what she wants and perhaps feeling a little less guilty every time Carly comes at her like this.
Nina will always feel bad for hurting Sonny, but she may think it’ll be for the best in the long run.
Nina is opening her mind to what might happen if Carly and Sonny truly split. She sees the potential for living happily ever after with Sonny, even if it’s wrong!
Nina may not spell that out for Carly exactly, but she’ll at least take a dig about the secrets Sonny’s still keeping under wraps.
Speaking of secrets, Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) will get a nudge from TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) to come clean.
After Marshall derails a sizzling moment between Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), he’ll be ready to talk if Curtis is ready to listen.
Curtis will want the whole truth, so he’ll ultimately go somewhere private and listen to Marshall’s side of the story.
As for Sonny, he’ll hear a different story from Laura – one that leaves him lashing out in frustration before comforting his friend.
Laura will break the news about Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) death, so Sonny will hate that yet another loss is being felt in Port Charles.
Of course, GH fans know Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was behind the cable car accident, which wasn’t really an accident at all.
It was a way for Victor to neutralize Luke, but it seems likely his death was faked in the end.
Victor always has several schemes cooking, so his latest one involves a deal to get Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) activation key from Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
Since Peter still wants Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) to be found as part of the deal, that could be why another unexpected visitor will come after Carly.
It’s easy to imagine Victor waltzing in and tossing veiled threats around to see how much Nina really knows.
Whatever the case, Nina will call Valentin for help in the aftermath of some mysterious visitor, so it seems like it has to be Victor or perhaps Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain) if she sneaks off from her papa.
Over with Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth), he’ll meet up with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for an experience that’s rather uncomfortable.
Austin said he’d be Britt’s wingman, so they might give that plan a try and find that their social skills could use a bit more work.
Later, Austin will have a run-in with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), so we’ll see if things are as vicious as ever or if there’s a chance for things to thaw.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will also try to help someone find a legal solution, so that might involve getting Drew control of his voting stock again.
Whatever the case, Drew will have more pressing issues when he crosses paths with Victor and puts him on full blast.
There’ll also be a new way for Brook Lynn and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to rise to the challenge.
Whether that involves secret-keeping or their budding romance, Chase and Book Lynn will do everything they can to keep “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise safe.
Valentin might close in on the truth about “Bailey” since he’s already got some good hints and is about to compare his findings with Austin.
In the meantime, Britt will have an eye-opening conversation with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) that helps her see his history in a new light.
Laura will also feel like an emergency family meeting is in order. She’ll call one and spell out the business they need to take care of, so we’ll see if this involves Victor’s threat or something else.
Finally, Ava will discover a difficult conversation in progress when she tracks down Nina again.
Ava will walk in on Nina discussing something tricky with someone, so this could relate to Valentin and the truth about “Bailey” – that is if Victor pesters Nina to the point that she feels scared.
Then again, Nina and Sonny can never stay away from each other very long.
Maybe Ava will witness a close moment that proves the situation is still complicated in the love department! As other GH news pops up, we’ll deliver updates.
General Hospital spoilers say Ava will prove she’s a super snooper, so don’t miss what’s ahead.
