General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 11-15 tease that Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) move will enrage Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) while Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) trial begins. Plus, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will set a trap for Laura Collins (Genie Francis), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
As Port Charles celebrates the Fourth of July, there’ll be fireworks in more ways than one.
Sonny will chew Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) out, but he’ll also lead Spencer to a realization – perhaps one that could help Trina.
Of course, Spencer will need to work quickly since Trina’s trial is coming up fast.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will see the toll this situation is taking on Trina, but Trina will try to find a distraction to keep her mind off her troubles.
That could involve Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) since he tends to put a smile on Trina’s face when she needs it most.
However, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) won’t give up on clearing Trina’s name and will work with Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) on a plan to score exonerating evidence.
Meanwhile, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will tag along on Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) romantic picnic, which obviously won’t be so romantic after all with Britt around!
Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will crash this little picnic party as well, so Austin and Maxie’s date definitely won’t turn out like they planned.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will also make some plans that get through off course, so that’ll be a big theme happening around Port Charles.
Over with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), he’ll think back on his wild days with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and entertain Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) with some old stories.
Nevertheless, Cody will notice someone arriving at the pool, so he’ll get distracted from his fun with Dante and Sam.
Since Britt will presumably still be on that picnic with Austin and Maxie, it looks like this arrival will involve another PC resident.
Other GH spoilers say Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will turn to Nina, but he won’t get the reaction he was counting on.
Whether Valentin wants support or another kind of help, Nina may not be in the mood to deal with him.
Next, Carly will get a surprise visitor – one who isn’t welcome at all as far as she’s concerned.
That certainly sounds like Nina, whose motives will be questioned by Sonny in the aftermath of this visit.
Nina may get tangled up in the Metro Court mess and leave Sonny wondering why she had to get involved.
Sonny and Nina are headed for a fierce fight, but we all know Sonny has a hot temper.
Once Sonny cools off and works through everything with Dante at the boxing gym, he may understand Nina’s perspective a bit better.
Whatever the case, Carly will face a heartbreaking goodbye, so it doesn’t sound like she’ll be willing to embrace any attempts to help her keep her half of the Metro Court.
After Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) clashes with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) about the help she obviously needs, he’ll head to the steam room.
Although Brando won’t be able to relax, he’ll spend hang out with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and get some good advice.
On the morning of Trina’s trial, she’ll face a surprise change in her defense. Trina still has a secret weapon in case of emergencies, so Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will urge her to use it.
Will Trina expose Spencer’s temporary prison escape and give herself an alibi for the time when the scandalous video was released?
Trina will contemplate that huge decision while Spencer carries out one final plan to save Trina from her own prison fate.
Spencer will make some bold moves that ultimately shock Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), so she may start to realize things aren’t quite as they seem.
Back with Nina, she’ll run into someone she didn’t expect to see in the cemetery.
Now that Willow is pregnant, she may have the baby she lost on her mind. It’s easy to imagine Willow crossing paths with Nina while she’s visiting Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) grave.
That could lead to another confrontation or perhaps a brief breather from the conflict, but we’ll see how things play out.
After a showdown with Valentin, Victor will also take steps to remove an obstacle – namely Laura.
Later, Laura will fret over leaving her loved ones to visit her mother in crisis.
It’s awfully suspicious for Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander) to need Laura out of the blue, so this sounds like Victor’s trap to lure Laura out of town.
