General Hospital Spoilers: Week of July 18 – Carly’s Party Derailed – Austin’s Mystery Man Meeting – Britt’s Disastrous Date

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 18-22 tease that Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) party will be derailed while Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has a mystery man meeting. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will also have a disastrous date, so here’s what fans can expect.

First, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will put his plan in motion to help Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), who’ll kick off her first day of trial.

As Spencer works to clear Trina’s name, he’ll have a fierce showdown with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl).

It looks like Spencer will stick to his goal of using the phony DNA proof to dupe Esme.

Spencer will hope he can use the fake promise of identifying Esme’s mother to pry a confession out of her, but this plan is bound to go awry!

In court, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will be called to the stand along with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and others.

Trina’s character will be attacked as part of this case, so that’ll be tough on all parties involved since she’s actually one of the best people in Port Charles.

After fighting with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about her decision to buy the Metro Court half and offer it to Carly, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will confide in Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and get some good relationship advice.

Other GH spoilers say Nina will have a surprise cemetery run-in, so we’ll see if that might be with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) or Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

Regardless, Sasha will remain on Nina’s mind as she frets over her on-air meltdown recently.

Brando will talk to Nina about his own concerns and open up to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) as well.

Speaking of TJ, he’ll speak with Willow about her health and some other questions that need to be answered regarding it.

Later, a celebration will take place with Carly, Willow, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) as the partygoers.

That may involve a little bash to celebrate Willow’s bun in the oven.

Unfortunately, this mini party will take an unexpected turn, so Willow may collapse again.

TJ and Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Haley Pullos) will share a sweet moment at GH, but it’ll be derailed by a patient’s sudden arrival – and there’s a good chance that’ll be Willow.

Over with Britt, she’ll have an uncomfortable date night with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).

Cody will practically interrogate Britt, so that’ll no doubt involve more questions about Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Britt will finally confront Cody about what kind of angle he’s working.

It’ll put Cody on the spot, so we’ll see if he tries to lie his way out of trouble or shares why he’s so obsessed with Faison.

After Austin gets a troubling text, he’ll sneak off to deal with it.

That’ll set the stage for Austin to meet with a mystery man – presumably the same one he secretly met in the Pautuck woods.

Next, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will hurl stalker accusations at Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), but it’ll all be a big misunderstanding.

Even so, Maxie will want some answers about why Spinelli’s been acting so bizarre lately – and Spinelli will finally make a big confession.

It sounds like Spinelli will come clean about being the mastermind behind Society Setups, so he might also admit that Cody has been blackmailing him.

Back with Sonny, he’ll get vicious during a faceoff with Felty (Brian Norris) the photographer, but someone surprising will come along and interrupt.

On The Haunted Star, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will have a special open mic night – one that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will apparently push Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to take part in.

It seems Chase will get a little stage fright and consider bailing on Brook Lynn’s plan, but she’ll no doubt give him the courage he needs to take the stage.

Back with Esme, she’ll realize she’d better resort to begging!

Esme will plead with the bartender who can incriminate her and hope she can save herself from landing behind bars.

However, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will seek a deal – most likely with that same bartender – so Esme may be out of luck if she’s hoping this guy will keep quiet.

Spencer will keep working on his own plot, so he’ll take some crucial information to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).

Will Spencer admit he’s been playing Esme and seek some help in these final moves to take her down?

If so, that could leave Nikolas concerned about how Esme might retaliate – meaning she could spill the beans about their hookup and ignite Ava’s fury!

Finally, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will have a grand gesture for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but she won’t be all that impressed.

Anna will want to talk about the secrets Valentin’s keeping from her instead, so she’ll push for some honesty about his clinic lies and his twisted relationship with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).

Valentin will have to decide how much he’s going to reveal about the Charlotte Cassadine (Amelia McLain) drama he’s been dealing with, so we’ll see what he divulges to Anna.
