General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of July 18-22 teases that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will keep a secret from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a new target. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will also strike a deal, so there’ll be some big things happening all over Port Charles.
For starters, Sonny will get grilled about the recent drama with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who tried to give Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) back her half of the Metro Court.
Since Carly wouldn’t take it, Nina wants to keep it for herself – though Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) certainly isn’t happy about that.
Sonny will complain to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about Nina’s stance and won’t like all the fighting that’s been happening.
While Dante advises Sonny, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will spot Nina in the cemetery and do the same.
Nina and Sonny will have to be honest with themselves about a few of their issues before they can be honest with each other, but they should find a path forward eventually.
In the meantime, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will show Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) the bogus DNA evidence and hope it’s enough to convince her that he’s found her birth mother.
While Spencer lays out the terms of his deal and pushes for a formal confession, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will pace around the steam room.
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will try to help Brando cope, but Brando will be an emotional wreck over Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) lies and drug use.
Later, Sonny will seek out Felty (Brian Norris) the photographer and perhaps make him regret making drug deals with Sasha.
Felty will become a target as Sonny apparently beats some sense into him – at least until someone interrupts.
In the courtroom, Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) trial will put several important people on the stand, including Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Over with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll surprise Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) with the news of her date with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).
Cody will take Britt to the stables and fumble this night quite badly, particularly when he tries to get the inside scoop on Britt’s past and daughter link to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
At GH, Willow will get updates on her white blood cell count being elevated.
TJ won’t want to speculate on why until he runs more tests, but Willow will suspect he’s already got a potential diagnosis in mind.
Willow won’t tell Michael about the follow-up appointment she schedules for more testing, but her declining condition could call attention to her current state anyway.
Michael, Willow, Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will have some celebrating to do, but their gathering will hit a snag.
That could be due to something like Nina’s arrival, but it could also involve Willow passing out again.
Whatever the case, Willow will be eager for TJ to spill exactly what he thinks is wrong with her – even if she doesn’t like what’s coming.
On The Haunted Star, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) will invite people to join an open mic night.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) may push Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to sing a new song on stage, but he’ll waver on whether to go through with her big idea.
After Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) wonders if Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is stalking her, he’ll clarify why he’s been acting so strange.
Maxie will be taken aback over Spinelli’s Society Setups mastermind secret.
Meanwhile, Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will get a disturbing text and have to meet with the mystery man who keeps pestering him.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will also try to impress Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) with a romantic gesture, but she’ll get tired of all his lies and push for answers about his arrangement with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Back with Esme, she’ll have a dire plea to offer the bartender. Esme will do everything she can to stay out of prison and make sure Trina goes in her place.
Nevertheless, Curtis will strike a deal that could help exonerate Trina, who’ll battle plenty of anxiety about how all this is going to turn out.
Finally, TJ and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will have to put their romantic scene on hold as a patient shows up at GH, so that may be Willow since she’s become the patient he’s most concerned about lately.
