General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of July 25-29 teases that we’ll see Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) testimony before Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) getaway goes wrong. Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will also make a Wyndemere visit, so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.
For starters, Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) romantic gesture will flop since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will be sick of him lying to her.
Anna will want Valentin to stop with all the games and just come clean about whatever is going on with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Felty (Brian Norris) the photographer will also face Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) fierce threat before Sonny shifts gears.
Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) have some problems to work through, so they’ll need to dish out some tough love and hard truths.
Meanwhile, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will feel a major pull toward each other.
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will also join Drew and Carly for a celebration, so they may have a tiny gathering because of the baby news.
This party will come to a screeching halt, so we’ll see if that’s due to a crasher or perhaps Willow’s health woes.
There’ll indeed be a patient who needs TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) care at GH, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Over with Spencer, he’ll feel like he’s running out of time to clear Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) name, so he’ll turn up the heat on Esme and push her to strike the deal he offered.
After a close call with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) the bartender’s place, Esme will indeed be tempted by Spencer’s proposal.
However, Esme will decide Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) knows best and will stop by to see him at Spring Ridge.
Ryan may assure Esme that Spencer has no idea who her mother is and claim her ex-boyfriend just cooked all this up, which is exactly what happened.
Perhaps Ryan will drop some other hints about Esme’s real mom and insist she’s a fool for believing Spencer.
Next, Curtis’ motives will be questioned. Jordan will be confused over Curtis’ agenda, but he’ll work to get her help anyway.
That should lead to Jordan rushing to Wyndemere as part of her mission to clear Trina’s name.
It turns out Jordan won’t be the only one rushing around since Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will make his way to the courthouse in a hurry.
It looks like Nikolas will get updates on Spencer’s phony birth mother deal and worry about the fallout.
Of course, Nikolas will mostly be concerned for himself since he slept with Esme and doesn’t want to blow up his marriage with that shocker.
Spencer will take the stand, so part of Trina will hope that he might reveal he was in the cemetery with her and give her an alibi.
Although Spencer won’t divulge that, he also won’t do Esme any favors with his testimony either!
Diane will find a new angle to pursue and put a shocking witness on the stand soon after.
Trina will be taken aback over the sudden strategy shift, but she’ll trust Diane to know what she’s doing.
As for Esme, she’ll prepare to leave Port Charles behind, but something tells us Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will hinder that plan.
Ava is on the verge of confronting Esme and will inevitably find out about that forbidden hookup with Esme soon.
After Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) strikes out with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) again, Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) will come to his rescue.
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will also have to admit to Michael and Willow that she’s already in the loop on their impending bundle of joy.
Once Sasha explains, she’ll share a special moment with Willow – though growing concerns will affect both of them in the aftermath.
Sasha will continue to have trouble moving forward while Willow frets over her elevated white blood cell count and the looming test results.
When Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) pushes for more responsibilities, Sonny will consider granting that request.
Since Dex has proven useful so far, Sonny will think about letting him slide in Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) old role.
Brick (Stephen A. Smith) will offer a warning since Dex can’t be trusted yet – or if ever considering what we know about his job working for Michael!
Nevertheless, it seems Sonny will remain in the dark on Dex’s shady side while Brick looks into history.
Michael will also give Dex some tips on how to make Sonny feel important and break into that inner circle.
Dex will become a tad conflicted as Sonny becomes a mentor and perhaps even a friend.
Sonny won’t be someone Dex really wants to target anymore, so that’ll complicate his whole mission.
