General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 25-29 tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will face an alarming diagnosis while Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) have a wild faceoff. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will also work to rescue Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), so let’s talk about what’s ahead.
First, Spencer will insist time’s up and push Esme to accept his deal.
Spencer will hope Esme’s willing to clear Trina’s name in exchange for info on her birth mother, but his plan won’t work out as well as he hoped.
Over with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll be tempted to reveal Trina’s secret alibi.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will try to talk Josslyn out of something, so Joss may offer some hints on her predicament and get some advice to let Trina make the call.
However, Trina will be shocked over a new witness and the testimony that follows.
It looks like Spencer may resolve to spill Trina’s alibi himself – putting his own freedom in jeopardy by admitting he broke out of Spring Ridge and was at the cemetery with Trina when the video leaked.
After talking to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will get on board with a new plan and rush to Wyndemere.
Maybe Jordan will want to corner Esme and pry a confession out of her before Trina’s trial wraps up.
However, Esme will be busy seeking Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) assistance.
Ryan may clue Esme in on the fact that Spencer’s bio mom story is completely bogus.
Once Esme feels backed into a corner, she’ll decide to leave town in a hurry.
However, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will grow nervous about the possibility of his forbidden hookup secret coming out.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will pick up on Nikolas’ odd behavior and ask some questions, so we’ll see if Vic realizes some cheating has gone down.
Whatever the case, Nikolas will ultimately race to the courthouse and hope he can keep the truth under wraps.
It sounds like Nikolas will want to shut down Spencer’s confession on the stand.
That could mean Nikolas will want to stop Spencer from exposing his prison break, but it could also be more serious than that.
If Esme comes clean to Spencer about sleeping with his father, Spencer might reveal that in court to trash her character and back up Joss’ claims of her guilt.
Regardless, Spencer will make a significant choice, so Nikolas may be out of luck when it comes to stopping his son.
In the aftermath, Nikolas will corner Spencer and could face off with him over what he exposed.
As for Ava, she’ll end up having a fierce faceoff with Esme. That showdown could take a violent turn since it looks like some stunt doubles filmed in these explosive scenes.
Ava may find out Esme slept with Nikolas and shut down her attempt to flee Port Charles.
There’s no chance of Ava letting Esme go without seeking payback!
Over with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’ll try to help Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) charm Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
As for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), they’ll have an honest conversation and try to work through some of their recent issues.
Sonny will also face an eager Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) plea to take on more responsibilities.
After Sonny mulls over the idea of letting Dex step up, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will make a discovery.
Brando will bust Dex with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), so they may fake another fight and leave Brando wondering if Sonny needs to settle this.
At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) first day back at work will come with a shocker.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will check in with Liz before things take a stunning turn.
Back with Michael, he’ll join Willow for an uncomfortable conversation.
Willow and Michael will try to gently fill Sasha in on the pregnancy news, but Sasha will admit she’s already in the loop.
Michael will later make a shady phone call that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) seems poised to overhear.
Sam will show up right as Michael’s making this call and may overhear something regarding his plot against Sonny.
While Willow waits for her test results, she’ll push TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) to stop dancing around what’s wrong with her.
Willow will want TJ to offer his suspicions on the problem, but he may insist on waiting for official confirmation.
