General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of June 27 through July 1 teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will keep secrets from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has a TV trainwreck. Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will also get a divorce surprise, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
As the ELQ shareholders’ meeting wraps up, a furious Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will threaten Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Of course, Valentin isn’t someone who scares easily, so he may brush off Drew’s fierce warning.
Meanwhile, Carly will fill Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) in on her plan for a deluxe family vacation.
Since Carly will expect to be rolling in dough due to the merger, she’ll be nothing but optimistic about the future.
That merger didn’t go through thanks to Valentin’s victory, so Carly will face some struggles when it comes to buying back her half of the Metro Court.
Next, Sonny will push Dex (Evan Hofer) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) to cool it. There’ll be more tension going on, but Sonny will push for peace.
Brando won’t want to cause problems, but he’ll have serious concerns about Dex that he finds difficult to ignore.
At the Metro Court pool, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will arrive at Sasha’s request, but Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will think Nina needs to find another pool to lounge by.
The fight that follows will eventually be derailed by Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who may faint due to the mysterious health issue she’s battling.
There have been some hints about a possible pregnancy for Willow in spoilers, but she also seems genuinely ill in some ways.
No matter what Willow’s up against, she’ll face it with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) by her side at GH.
As for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he’ll have some job updates for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) probably hasn’t fired Chase yet, but Linc Brown (Dan Buran) still intends to complain to the civilian review board and try to get Chase dismissed.
Back with Nina, she’ll open up to Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) about her love life and let Liesl do the same. Both Nina and Liesl should be happy about where things are headed romantically.
After Sasha spends some time bonding with Michael again, she’ll get stressed out over the Home and Heart Channel appearance that’s coming up.
Felty (Brian Norris) the photographer will make a deal with Sasha, who seems poised to buy some drugs to take the edge off.
Morgan Fairchild will portray Haven de Havilland, who’s a hostess at this shopping channel. This is poised to turn into a total TV trainwreck, so Sasha will worry about the fallout for Deception.
Brando will face growing fears about Sasha and her obvious drug problem, so he’ll try to figure out the best way to help her overcome this battle.
Other GH spoilers say a light bulb will go off for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), who’ll come up with some bluff in hopes of fooling Esme.
Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will join the plot by the pool, but several key players will get hurled into that pool soon enough.
Spencer’s plan will go wrong and won’t put him any closer to Esme’s takedown.
Fortunately, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will still have Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) on her side for a strategy session.
When Esme finds Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) talking to Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) about their divorce, she’ll marvel over them breaking up.
Nikolas will correct Esme since they’re merely divorcing so they can remarry and do this the right way.
Once Esme drags Nikolas away from the table, she’ll push him to help her with her Spring Ridge internship situation.
Nikolas will act like there’s nothing he can do, but Esme will point out that it’d be a shame for Ava to learn the truth about their hookup.
That’ll let Nikolas know this is serious business, so he’ll have to get Esme’s internship reinstated if he wants to protect the secret.
Back with Drew, he’ll pitch a business plan to Nina. This could potentially lead to Nina snapping up Carly’s half of the Metro Court – at least for a while.
In the meantime, Carly will try to avoid Sonny’s questions when she runs into him.
Sonny may sense that Carly’s upset, but she obviously won’t want to ask for his help to dig out of her financial crisis.
It seems Carly will suffer in silence instead, but Sonny will have to find out the truth eventually.
