General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of May 16-20 tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will rescue Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) while Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) makes a DNA discovery. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) will also face danger in Brooklyn, so here’s what viewers can expect.
For starters, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will try to appease Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) with a job offer, but Ned just might get a better one after a meeting with someone surprising.
Speaking of offers, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have an unexpected proposal for Drew and Michael to consider, so we’ll see how that might affect the upcoming merger as well.
As for Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda), he’ll be ready to recite his poem in front of his family.
Leo will hopefully get over his stage fright, but Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will be held to a promise he made – and that could involve Chase putting his own talent on display.
Chase will share a close moment with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), but they’ll face another interruption.
There’ll be an unwelcome arrival that derails Brook Lynn and Chase’s time together, so that’ll bring some drama into their attempt at a romance.
Over with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), she’ll face a setback with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and throw herself at Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) in the aftermath.
With Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) breathing down her neck to make some progress, Esme will kick her manipulation of Nikolas up a notch.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will pass along some disappointing info to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), so that’ll no doubt involve Trina’s case.
Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will have some difficult updates to share as well – and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) isn’t going to like them!
GH spoilers say Stella will come clean about how much she knew and when she knew it.
Stella has been deceiving Curtis about Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) and the secrets she’s been covering up, so Curtis will inevitably lash out.
Back with Esme, she’ll get into a fierce faceoff with Ava while Spencer faces Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) questions.
It sounds like Sam will continue looking into Esme’s guilt, so we’ll see if Spencer is forced to admit he wants to prove it, too.
Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will also get confirmation on what Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) has been keeping under wraps.
Sasha may get her hands on more drugs and leave no room for doubt in Gladys’ mind.
Gladys tried to explain away the pictures, but she knew this was bad deep down. That’s why Gladys encouraged Sasha to open up, but Sasha didn’t take the bait.
However, Gladys will soon force Sasha into a confrontation by presenting a pill bottle and demanding answers.
That pill bottle may contain Sasha’s next round of drugs and prove she’s incapable of stopping without help.
In Brooklyn, Molly will accompany TJ as they try find Marshall. The good news is TJ and Molly will indeed track Marshall down.
The bad news is that the situation will escalate into something intense and perhaps dangerous.
Marshall might be off his meds at this point – and that could lead to an outburst that concerns both Molly and TJ. Although TJ will do his best to settle things down, he could run into some trouble.
Whatever the case, there’ll be more drama back in Port Charles when Bobbie catches Carly with DNA test results at the hospital.
Bobbie will eavesdrop before demanding answers, so Carly may end up coming clean about Nina being Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) bio mom.
Later, Sonny will come to Nina’s rescue during an awkward encounter at The Savoy.
There’ll be some erupting tension once Nina, Sonny, Carly and Bobbie all land there.
Next, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will have an unsettling interaction with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be part of this encounter as well, so they’ll have questions along with Finn.
It’ll be Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) who ends up making a suggestion that could put Finn on the right track.
Violet will mention something that leads to a new theory – perhaps one that involves Liz herself being behind the stalker incidents and not remembering it for some psychological or medical reason.
The sleeping medication that Liz keeps mentioning could be playing a role in her issues, so we’ll see how things play out.
