General Hospital Spoilers: Week of May 23 – Nina’s Secret Weapon – Ruthless Visitation Hearing – Esme’s Big Chance with Nikolas

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of May 23-27 tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will score a secret weapon during the ruthless visitation hearing that’s coming up. Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) big chance with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will also bring drama, so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.

First, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will make a decision that leaves Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) with concerns.

That could involve Sonny’s vow to fight back against Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) if the war escalates – or maybe this could involve the visitation hearing.

Due to Michael’s behavior lately, Sonny might take a less neutral approach and throw more support behind Nina in court.

Nina could certainly use all the help she can get in the battle that’s brewing over her Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) rights.

Once things heat up in the courtroom, Nina will take the stand and plead for a place in her grandson’s life.

Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will also take a gamble on a witness that’s unexpected, so he’ll hope to offer Nina a secret weapon.

The tension during this hearing will escalate in a big way, especially once it’s Michael’s turn to take the stand.

This will be a week-long battle that leads to some emotional outbursts, but Nina, Michael and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will all be fighting for what they feel is best.

Over with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll fish for details on Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) job and whether he likes it.

Britt will remain worried about Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) blackmail, but she’ll also have concerns about Brad getting dragged into mob mayhem.

After TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) finds Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) medication, he’ll share the news with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and offer a shift in perspective.

TJ and Curtis will try to support Marshall, but a surprise visitor will come along to shake things up.

Nancy Lee Grahn will finally be back onscreen as Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) – and not a moment too soon since Alexis seems poised to kick off a new love story with Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison).

Gregory and Alexis will do some clashing over The Invader, but we all know enemies to lovers is a popular path to soap romance!

As for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), she’ll deal with some frustration thanks to Linc Brown’s (Dan Buran) reappearance and the demands he’ll pressure her with.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will close in on the real story behind the stalker incidents.

It looks like Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) may do the same and come together with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

After Cameron, Finn, Kevin and Laura rally around Liz, she might see that perhaps she’s to blame for all the stalker chaos.

It’s possible there’ll be an intervention of sorts and a plea for Liz to get some professional help to deal with her lingering grief.

In the aftermath, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will comfort Cameron – at least until an interruption happens.

That could involve more Esme chaos, but Esme will also be busy weighing her options soon enough.

Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will reveal Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) offer to loosen the trust fund purse strings and give him $10 grand a week. All Ava wants in return is for Spencer and Esme to move out of Wyndemere permanently.

Esme may delay any attempt to move out and give herself a little more time to seduce Nikolas.

Speaking of Nikolas, he’ll pump Britt for information and could potentially score info on the pill Spencer asked about.

Back with Ava, she’ll turn on the charm with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) – and Victor will do the same.

Ava will keep working to figure out Victor’s true agenda and will report back to Laura when they have target practice later.

It looks like Victor will also witness another fight between Ava and Nikolas, who’ll head home to drink before Esme appears ready to pounce.

With Nikolas drunk, susceptible, angry and alone, this would be Esme’s perfect opportunity to strike and intensify her seduction efforts.

Spencer will also witness a close moment between Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse), so that’ll no doubt stir up some jealousy.

Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) will also overhear Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten) sharing some updates with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).

Chet will get some help making a difficult decision, so that could bring him closer to Terry despite Amy’s annoyance.

Finally, there’ll be a Society Setups event at the Metro Court pool, so we’ll see Britt, Brad, Brook Lynn, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and more gather for some fun in the sun.

Of course, Britt is the one looking for love right now, so this could lead to her first meeting with Josh Kelly’s new character since he seems to be her next love interest.

General Hospital spoilers say there’ll be some shakeups in the romance department soon, so stay tuned.
