General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for the week of October 17-21 teases that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will face off while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) rejects an offer. Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) will also have some answers for the cops, so let’s discuss what’s coming up.
After Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) clashes with Peyton Honeycutt (Linda Purl) again, she’ll get a nice surprise thanks to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Drew and Carly will eventually frolic on the beach as they embrace Florida life for a bit.
However, Carly will eventually close this Jacksonville chapter and look forward to a new one back in Port Charles.
With any luck, Carly will move past her fears and give dating a shot with Drew.
In the meantime, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) will frantically search for a way out of her storage wing jam.
Could there be a secret tunnel somewhere for Esme to go through?
Whatever the case, Esme will rush to her own defense later.
Ava will also visit Wyndemere for a confrontation with Nikolas, so that may start out with complaints and confusion about the back-on divorce.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is trying to force Nikolas to end his marriage, but Nik was fighting hard for it not too long ago.
The about-face won’t make sense to Ava, but the hostility is only going to get worse if Esme is discovered.
GH spoilers say Esme will find relief that’s quite fleeting, so her attempt at freedom could be yanked away by Ava, Nikolas or both.
It sounds like Esme will end up locked away once again.
Down on the docks, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will await Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) arrival for a midnight cruise, but she’ll quickly realize he’s not coming.
Victor will send someone else instead, so that could be Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for starters.
Valentin will be forced into a difficult situation, so that could involve Victor’s pressure to kill Lucy.
Nevertheless, Victor would be smart to have a backup plan since Valentin has let him down before.
There’s a chance Valentin will get duped and lured into this trap, too.
Victor might want to kill two birds with one stone, so we’ll see Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) grow increasingly concerned.
There are some hints that make it seem like “The Hook” could be Victor’s programmed soldier, so that could become a fear for Anna and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) as they team up.
Later, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will summon Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to the Quartermaine boathouse, so he’ll bring Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and wonder what was so urgent.
Inside that boathouse, Robert will struggle to believe his eyes.
It’ll be none other than Holly Sutton standing in front of him, so Holly will open up about her time in captivity and could perhaps point the finger at Victor.
If Victor is behind “The Hook” and Holly was programmed to kill, these storylines might fit together.
Regardless, Robert will want to hear about Holly’s survival, escape and more.
Nina will also reject someone’s offer, so we’ll see if that involves another Metro Court proposal or something else.
Either way, Nina will make it clear that she’s not interested!
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will be back in Nina’s orbit soon, so that could lead to more clashing.
