General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that we have to ask: Will Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) die hiding the bio mom secret? Could Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) fatal move leave a mystery behind for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to uncover?
Under the circumstances, we have to wonder if GH writers might find Harmony more valuable dead than alive!
Harmony herself has made comments in the past that hinted she didn’t expect to live long.
That was back when all the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) drama was going on, but it felt like the show intended for Harmony to die and then wound up keeping her.
Of course, it could become a case of delaying the inevitable.
That’s especially true considering the show’s penchant for killing people off before major secrets can be revealed.
Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) died never knowing that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was her true mother – and Nina only found out after Nelle’s death that she was her biological daughter.
Now we’ve got Harmony, who’s engaging in shady business with a criminal in town and working closely with a serial killer at Spring Ridge.
Despite how well Harmony gets along with Ryan, this is a dangerous man who will turn on her in an instant if she hinders his plan.
When it comes time for Ryan’s escape, it’s going to be a lackluster plot without at least one death – just as a reminder of what he’s capable of.
Harmony might be a good character to kill off during Ryan’s next reign of terror.
There’s been a lot of talk about Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) death lately, so maybe the show will pile on the loss for Alexis by causing her to lose this newfound bond with Harmony, too.
That could give Alexis a mystery to ponder and leave her determined to find out the whole truth behind Harmony’s past.
Likewise, Willow might make all sorts of discoveries in the aftermath of Harmony’s murder.
This could open the door to Willow realizing Harmony wasn’t her bio mom and setting out to learn more about her roots with Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) help.
It might be interesting if instead of just having Harmony flat-out confess things in the end, Willow is forced to figure out the details of her past for herself – perhaps by teaming up with Alexis.
GH would get a lot of bang for their buck if they killed Harmony off.
They’d get the shock value and have the deadly outcome that tends to result when Ryan is a free man.
They would also begin the next phase of the bio daughter story and put Willow on a path to discovering Nina is her birth mother.
All signs point to Willow and Nelle being fraternal twins through a rewrite, so Willow and Nina are in for a shock along with everyone else close to them.
Will Harmony take her secrets to the grave and force the mother-daughter duo to find out another way?
