General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) twin, so Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) other daughter will be revealed as a mystery finally unravels.
GH fans know the show went back and forth on evidence of who Nina’s daughter was.
It seemed like the writers couldn’t decide whether they wanted it to be Willow or Nelle, but Nelle was ultimately the one they went with.
Of course, there was always door number three – just waiting to be opened!
Now the writers are finally ready to open that door and make BOTH of them Nina’s daughters.
GH insiders insist that Willow is Nelle’s long-lost twin, so that’s where this birth certificate drama is heading.
There’s no record of Willow’s birth, so they’re gearing up to reveal that Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) isn’t Willow’s biological mother.
Instead, it’s Nina who gave birth to Willow, which makes sense considering this whole heart pendant situation.
Nina doesn’t know it yet, but it seems those pendant halves were meant for twin sisters – not mother and daughter.
Willow had a reaction of familiarity to the heart pendant at one point, but she also noted that Harmony never really kept any family heirlooms.
It seems like Nina’s half might’ve been in Willow’s possession long ago before it wound up in Nina’s hands.
Does all that mean Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) is keeping secrets from Nina?
Has Phyllis been holding out on the existence of Nina’s other daughter all this time?
Perhaps Phyllis was led to believe the other twin died, so she might’ve kept quiet to spare Nina the pain of that revelation.
Regardless, there’ll be some explanation that makes Willow and Nelle twins if the insider buzz proves accurate as expected.
That’s great news in case Nelle ever comes back from the dead. Some sister drama would be exciting to play out if the show ever chooses to go there.
This also complicates things with Nina in a big way since Willow will be more determined than ever to give her a spot in Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) life.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) are sure to hate finding out that Nina is Willow’s bio mom.
Before Willow decided to adopt Wiley, Michael suggested she could be like an aunt to the boy.
It turns out Willow is both Wiley’s aunt AND his adoptive mom, so she’s got even more of a connection to Wiley than she thought!
