GH fans know Michael and Willow have faced their fair share of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) issues lately.
Willow and Michael disagreed shortly before Thanksgiving as well, which led to them taking a trip to New York and putting their problems on hold.
Distraction seems to be Michael’s go-to strategy instead of actually working through any issues that pop up.
Michael may not be happy about Willow’s recent visit to Nina, especially if he hears Nina’s been in touch with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).
Nina seems to have tabled the idea of formally pursuing visitation rights for now, but Michael may still think she’s going to create more turmoil for their family.
Of course, Willow doesn’t see Nina as a huge threat like Michael does and wouldn’t be opposed to letting Nina be in Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) life.
That’s why Willow encouraged Nina to give up her legal claim to Wiley as a gesture of goodwill and promised to work on getting through to Michael in return.
If Willow opens up about all this to Michael, he’s not going to be pleased.
There could be more clashing between Michael and Willow soon, but Michael won’t want Nina or anything else to come between them.
Since Willow and Michael’s Thanksgiving getaway worked out great, Michael may decide this distraction strategy can work once again.
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers say Michael will blow Willow away when he pulls off a surprise Paris vacation on January 31.
Michael may work out all the details in advance so they can both have time off and ultimately reconnect in this romantic city.
However, we know this trip will set the stage for more trouble.
