Hunter King signs multi-picture deal with Hallmark
While Hunter King is well known for her Emmy-award-winning role as Summer Newman on The Young and the Restless, she has already made her debut on the feel-good network. Readers will recall her role in the new, original movie Hidden Gems on Hallmark Channel. Moreover, King has also starred in Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Now, fans will be thrilled to expect more of Hunter’s work on Hallmark as she signs a multi-movie deal.
Speaking of the deal between Hallmark and Hunter, Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice-President of Hallmark Media made a statement:

Hunter King on her new multi-movie deal with Hallmark
As noted by Deadline, King has been dreaming of starring in a Hallmark movie for years. Speaking of the new deal, she said:
I feel so incredibly grateful and lucky to be part of the Hallmark family! Growing up, I would drive past Hallmark’s headquarters nearly every day and dream about getting the chance to be in one of their movies someday.
Getting to make three Hallmark movies this year has already been so amazing and I’m so excited for what’s to come. I get to be in Hallmark movies for a living! Are you kidding me? Is this real life?
Hunter’s career in TV and films
While Hunter King is well known for her past role as Summer Newman on The Young and the Restless, she has enjoyed other TV roles. King is probably best known as a series regular on Life in Pieces on CBS, where she starred with Colin Hanks, Thomas Sadoski, and Betsy Brandt. Moreover, her role on The Young and the Restless snagged Hunter two Daytime Emmy Awards.
Meanwhile, the actress has starred in the critically acclaimed A Girl Like Her with Jimmy Bennett. The movie confronted the serious problem of bullying in schools. Hunter also starred as the lead in the 2020 ABC comedy pilot, Prospect. Moreover, she has recently completed filming of the indie feature film, Give Me Your Eyes.
Hallmark fans can now look forward to Hunter’s role in the new, original holiday movie, A Royal Corgi Christmas. The movie is set to premiere on Hallmark Channel on Friday, November 25 as part of the network’s Countdown to Christmas programming event.
