Tonight’s LPBW episode begins at Zach and Tori’s house, Tori is making lunch for everyone, and Amy and Chris are coming back from a motorcycle trip. The couple is talking about Amy and says that she came and stepped in when Josiah was born and they don’t know how they would have done it without her, it was a lot. Making lunch for them is something small that they can give back to them. Zach dislocated his thumb, he fell running into a kid’s birthday party. Tori says that her only complaint with Josiah is that he doesn’t sleep through the night. Zach agrees the whole nighttime thing can be challenging, but they feel like they are super blessed with three children.

Meanwhile, Chris and Amy are pulling up, it is the last day of their trip, day 18 and they are ready to be home and get the ball to their normal life. They enter the house and the children are full of hugs. They talk about not seeing as much wildlife as they thought they would. They saw a bear, but no moose. They ran into some wild bison, some wild bears were playing, and there were lots of sheep.

Amy loves being there, she feels like she is almost home. On the ride back it was foggy, cold, and windy, they even got snow. Amy says British Columbia is gorgeous. Zach says his mom has a tattoo now, she is on a motorcycle, and she is being more of herself with Chris. Chris says they had a few bumps, but they came back stronger than ever.

When they go to leave, all the kids go outside to see the motorcycle.

Caryn and Matt are watching her grandson, Liam, they are having breakfast together. They had their friends Bob and Jodie staying for five days and had a good time. Matt shared with Bob how disheartening it is that his kids are not celebrating the experiences they had rather than on what they don’t have in the future, and Zach is ruining the memories. Caryn says the whole thing has been painful, she hasn’t seen the children forever and hasn’t seen Josiah yet. She feels like she doesn’t know what to do with this rift. Matt says it is hard to put Caryn in the middle of the family drama. Matt says that other friends are coming to visit, and maybe they should invite Amy because she knows them. Caryn asks if he heard from the realtor, and he says there is one from Arizona who is interested. He hopes the farm and house go to a family. He estimates that it is a six-month to one-year process to sell the farm.

Back to Amy and Chris, they are home and happy to be there. They have a lot of outdoor projects to start on. They talk and Amy says she knows she is sensitive, she always worries about people’s image of her. But now, unlike when she was married to Matt, she feels supported and encouraged. Matt and she had disagreements, more so she thinks she didn’t understand and things were never settled. With Chris, he wants to understand her and she wants to understand him, so they take the time. Chris says it is their responsibility to accept each other the way they are and not try to change each other. Chris thinks early on he had to push Amy to talk about things because she was always worried if she didn’t say things the right way, he would walk out the door. It’s the old adage and she is glad things are not like that anymore. Amy talks about Matt and the invitation to be with their friends.

Brian and his wife Jerry are at Matt’s house for the BBQ, and Amy and Chris arrive. All the couples are one little person and one average size. Chris hasn’t spoken to Matt in a while, so he doesn’t know how things are going with the sale of the house and Amy would prefer if he finds out, she doesn’t want to have that conversation with Matt. They start talking about a Little People LPA conference coming and Chris says he is looking forward to it, this will be his first one, Caryn says she is not looking forward to it, she is nervous. She is hoping Zach and Jackson will be there, she is going there with a good attitude.

Chris is happy to find out from Jerry that there is no more stigma with mixed couples. Amy found out that before her, Matt was interested in another Amy, and both Matt and Brian were after her. They all have a good laugh about the old days. Amy says her first national was nerve-racking at 23, she had never seen that many little people. But it taught her, to be comfortable with herself. Caryn says when she saw Matt, she just saw him, she didn’t see a little person.

Amy says she wasn’t looking for a little person, she was all about love. Chris asks Matt about the farm, he says it is slowly moving, there is one interested person. Chris thinks Matt put the house up for too high an amount and after 30 days he needs to think strongly about a price reduction. Amy says in a few years they will be looking for a place and Matt says he knows one right here, they all laugh. Matt tells Chris he thinks they really could have been great neighbors and Caryn rolls her eyes in disdain. Matt and Chris say it would have been fun and they would have swapped ideas, to which Caryn responds, “yeah and I could just see my phone blowing up, it’s Amy, where is Chris.”

At Zach and Tori’s house, Zach is playing soccer with Jackson. They are getting ready for the LPA convention, Jackson will be playing in the soccer competition. Jackson’s favorite thing is scoring goals. This will be Tori’s third LPA. Zach doesn’t think Jackson realizes that he is different yet, he thinks LPA will be helpful. Zach tells him that his mom, Chris, dad, and Caryn will be there. He doesn’t know what the status of the farm sale is and doesn’t care, they focus on life, and their children. Tori says Caryn is telling people she is expecting an olive branch and she has no plans of letting a tumultuous relationship like that be a part of their or the children’s lives. She doesn’t want to explain to Jackson every six months why they are not going to the farm, and she is not dropping her kids there anymore to visit. She is tired of it, Reid of talking about it, and she has no energy for that relationship.

THE END!
