Tonight’s LPBW episode begins with Tori and Zach, they are out for lunch with Lilah and Jackson after taking Lilah to see a doctor for ears. Lilah got a good bill of health, she is no problem hearing, no water in the ears, they can put her in speech therapy.
Elsewhere, Amy and Chris are playing tennis with Amy and Lisa Fletcher, their closest long term friends. The funniest thing is, Amy has two sets of friends who are both named Lisa and Art. After the first game, they sit down for a picnic, Amy made raspberry sorbet for the first time and she thought it would be good after a game.
They talk about the farm, Amy says if she knew now what would happened, she would have bought Matt out and sold it to one of the boys. But what Matt has it at now, there is no way one of the boys could afford that. When Chris first met Amy, it was assumed that that side of the house would be worked on by one of the twins. But now, both of the boys have moved on, but the history and emotions don’t go away and Amy thinks it is going to take time.
Zach and Tori have company for the weekend, their friends Mikey, Jessica and their son Michael who is the same age as Jackson, and they are all LP. Mikey and Zach go back a couple of years, they used to hang out before they all had kids. Zach hopes Jackson gets along with Michael, otherwise it could be a very long weekend. Lilah loves Michael, she wants to be one of the boys and do things with them. Jackson comes into the room and asks if he can go to Michael’s birthday, it is a Batman party. Michael’s parents laugh, they knew nothing about it. In the end, all the kids get along very well.
Chris tells Amy they need to talk to Matt about pumpkin season, she agrees but she needs time to wrap her head around what this year is going to look like. She heard from Matt that his dad had to go in the hospital, so she replaced him to do a tour, but feels like she said yes too quick because she feels too disconnected. Chris did a tour he doesn’t mind doing them, he actually enjoyed it. Chris tells her she should wear her costume and still be there, she doesn’t know. If she goes, he will go, but not without her, it just wouldn’t be as fun.
Michael and Jackson continue to play great together, everyone is happy to see them on the same page. Mikey and Jess had two daughters that died very early, and have been through a lot because of it. Their plan is to try again, but they need time to heal.
The next day, they go to the beach and the children love being in the water.
Jackson and Michael race down the beach, it was a pretty even finish, although Jackson says he won. Next, Zach and Mikey race, Jackson says it was a tie.
Matt’s dad passed away peacefully, he is grateful that he went to see him when he did. Caryn says his dad is definitely going to be missed. Matt reminisces about his father and some of the special moments they shared together. One of the things his father said in his final hours is that he wants all the family to get along. Matt vows that he is going to work hard to mend his relationships, he knows he has a lot of work to do.
THE END!
