In tonight’s Seeking Sister Wife episode, The Davis family seems to be set on Danielle. Danielle has now spent a night with Nick. He felt sure about her to do that and now it was his wives’ turn to get to know Danielle. April and Jennifer took Danielle out for lunch. They wanted to bond like sisters. They also didn’t shy away from Danielle’s time with Nick and they even asked her about it. They asked how she felt about things. They also told her how they were grateful she didn’t show any signs of jealousy. Its harder for a polygamous family to work if jealousy is involved. Danielle would be going in knowing that Nick spends his time with at least two other women.
Danielle for her part was very open with the women. She told them how she currently lives alone and that it would be adjustment to go back to living with other people. There was also the sleeping arrangement. Currently, the spouses all sleep in the same bed. There were three adults all sleeping in the same bed and so Danielle wondered what size bed would fit four people. She also was thinking about her current relationship dynamic with Nick. The spotlight was on her right now because she was merely the potential sister wife and that made her wondered how she would feel once the spotlight was off or on someone else.
The Foley family went to Texas to visit Steve’s kids. Steve shares two kids with his ex-wife. He was married to the ex when he met Brenda and he wanted to add her as a sister wife and he claims that negative influence got into his ex’s ears. She ended up leaving him. The kids live primarily with her and initially they blamed Brenda for the breakdown of the marriage. The son has since got passed the past. His daughter however still doesn’t really like Brenda or her father for that matter. She seemed to resent spending time with them. And the time they were together they spent it going horseback riding.
Then there was the Epps family. Taryn was fighting with her husband Marcus because he wanted to ask her and her sister wife India when would be the right time to sleep with potential wife Bina. The family was considering Bina for a position as a sister wife. Marcus therefore wanted to know when he could test out her full potential in being his third wife. Taryn hadn’t wanted to hear about it. She didn’t want to know when he slept with Bina. Which India disagreed with. India wanted to know everything when it happens. She’s very possessive of Marcus. Her possessiveness was something that Bina found a little strong.
Bina isn’t some outsider. She’s been a longtime family friend. She knows the polygamous threesome as a couple and she was interested in becoming part of a family. Both Taryn and India like her. But India’s sister did pose some smart questions. The sister came for India’s birthday and she talked to the family about Bina. The sister wonders if Bina has always been interested in Marcus. Like, maybe she wanted him and she waited for a time to be with him and this is it. The sister also asked India how it feels to be so quickly replaced. India was supposed to be the new one. She hasn’t been part of the family for that long for Marcus to suddenly want a third wife.
The sister believes that the sister wives were taking direction from Marcus when they said they want another sister wife. She doesn’t believe they’re as happy as they let on and once she started to pose her questions – India did need time to think. India loves her sister. Marcus doesn’t really like his sister-in-law. He feels she has very strong opinions and he doesn’t really like those opinions. He couldn’t wait until she left. She made India and Taryn think about themselves. They usually have to think about the family structure. They couldn’t think of themselves in a polygamous marriage and so simply thinking of themselves for a brief moment helped to see if they really wanted Bina in their family.
As for the last family, the Jones family, Sidian packed for a trip. Sidian was married to Tosha and they wanted to add a sister wife and become polygamists. Sidian was considering a woman by the name of Arielle for the job. Arielle lives in a different country. She couldn’t fly over and so Sidian flew out to meet her. He talked about it with Tosha. They both like what they’ve seen of Arielle so far. Tosha even gave Sidian the go-ahead to sleep with Arielle on his trip. She wanted him to fully realize Arielle’s potential as their third. And Tosha has no problem with that because she likes what she’s seen of Arielle.
Nick and his two wives had Danielle over for dinner at the house. They wanted to see her in their environment and Nick was already talking about more wives in addition to possibly Danielle because as he says: “he loves love”.
And Steve and Brenda told his kids about getting another wife, but Preston was understanding and the daughter Jayden told the couple she was against it. She told them their lifestyle was disgusting. She told him to divorce his wife if he wants a girlfriend.
