The firefighters held a fundraiser for charity. They did a 10k run in their uniforms. Maya won of course because she was the only Olympian out of the group and this was her field after all. But everyone had a good time. Their friends and loved ones also came out to celebrate the event. Carina was there. Even Vic was there. Vic actually pulled Carina aside because she changed her mind about taking a pill to abort her fetus. She now wants the surgical procedure and so Carina told Vic that she has to wait a week before she could qualify for the procedure and Vic didn’t take it well. Vic wanted to rid herself of the pregnancy as soon as possible. And the only reason she didn’t want to take the pill is that she didn’t want to spend two days hemorrhaging on the bathroom floor.

Vic had said that she just wants to get over it. She was already suffering from morning sickness. Her breasts were tender and her hormones were all over the place. Vic hated it. She hated the changes in her body. She hated that something had taken her attention away from her grief. Vic was still grieving Miller’s death and she’s been pushing anyone and everyone that tries to help her. She was doing that with her boyfriend. Theo didn’t even know she was pregnant. Theo was subbing at her station house and he was around her friends all day. Vic was avoiding him and them. She also tried to shake off Andy when Andy suggested they hang out.

Theo had asked Andy to take Vic out. He thought it would be good to get her out of the house. He didn’t know that Vic would take Andy to Miller’s old houseboat of all places or that Vic would break-in. The houseboat had been sold by Miller’s parents. Vic used the key that Miller used to hide to technically break into someone else’s home and she took Andy along with her for the ride. Andy tried to talk Vic out of it, but Vic hasn’t been the same since Miller’s death and she’s been getting more and more out of control. It’s why she was benched. Vic wasn’t allowed to return to work because on her last call she freaked out and she pushed a victim of a domestic abuser into standing up against her abuser.

Sure, the woman needed help. Only it wasn’t Vic’s place to act for her. Vic has been acting out since Miller’s death and that wasn’t the first time. She made out with Jack. She risked the program that Miller built and now she was running away from a very relationship she has with Theo. Vic was so messed up that she jumped into the freezing ocean off of Miller’s houseboat. She also told Andy about the pregnancy. She said in the middle of a rant and then she jumped into the ocean. There was bent on self-destruction and no one could help her. Montgomery tried. Theo tried. Jack has little patience for it. And now Andy was doing her best.

The two women were still out by the houseboat as the rest of the team were dealing with a haunted house. Station 19 got called to a haunted house after some podcasters attempted to do an episode from there and the house turned on them. One of the podcasters ran out the more she was spooked. The other two were still trapped in the house and so the firefighters were tasked with rescuing them. They went into the building. They all paired up and went off in groups. Montgomery and Theo were paired together when they fell through a trap door. They ended up finding Corey who had also fallen through the trap door.

It was all blamed on the house being haunted. Tobias was found under the debris of the ceiling that had fallen on him and he said that he heard the house telling him to get out before it tried to kill him. The house was haunted because a woman went crazy and killed her husband and children inside of the house. It has some seriously bad juju. Montgomery and Theo were later rescued but not before they accused the other of running away from the relationship and so truth time was something they could have done without. Theo judged Montgomery for keeping one foot out the door. And Montgomery judged Theo for Theo wanting space from Vic.

Vic wasn’t herself. She was pushing everyone away. She even seemed so content with being underwater that she didn’t want to come up for air and Andy had to retrieve her. Andy had lost her friend, too. She knew what it was like and she didn’t judge Vic for acting out. She instead got Vic to talk. Andy had an abortion when she was younger and she didn’t regret it. She also never told Ryan. She just took that secret with her and Vic didn’t want to do that. Vic was going to get her abortion but she also was going to tell Theo about it so that he could be with her when it happens. And that was that.

Carina and Jack also talked about her and Maya wanting a baby and he offered to be the donor for them, but Carina quickly shot it down because she thought using a friend would be weird.
