Tonight’s Survivor episode begins with day 9 at Ika, the tribe returns from Tribal Council. Romeo tells Rocksroy that Swati told everyone in camp that they were her number one and she needed to go. Rocksroy feels betrayed, he did not see this coming and didn’t pick up on the social cues.
Day 10 at Taku, it’s a rainy day. Jonathan can’t stand how much the girls talk, he doesn’t know why there can’t be silence for five seconds. He doesn’t even know what they are talking about, he goes for a walk. He has fishing equipment and plans on going fishing as an escape from camp. Every time every time something little happens Maryanne overreacts.
At Vati, Mike was hoping for a merge. When they are all around each other, there are smiles, but Hai doesn’t trust anybody. Daniel gives them a B for morale, but a D minus for survival skills. Daniel goes fishing and his tribe is wondering how he can go spear fishing if he can’t compete in swimming challenges because of an injury to his arm. He comes back and says his arm sucks, he comes back with nothing.
Mike says they have carried Daniel from day one and how long can they do it before it becomes a true liability. Hai is out looking for an immunity idol, he knows there is one out there. Drea found the three-way shared immunity idol. She doesn’t have a vote because of this, but she does have an extra vote. The she remembers that she heard someone say the secret chant at one of the immunity challenges and thinks it may not be that long before she gets to use this idol.
Time for the immunity reward and Maryanne takes her chance to say her chant, hoping that other tribes will do it as well. Maryanne says she has always loved food, but now she wants to marry it. Mike says his chant. And, so does Drea. Mike knew it was time to do this.
Once again immunity is back up for grabs. Today they are going to race up and over a tall net ramp, one member will then untangle braided ropes to release a key. Use that key to unlock a machete, use the machete to drop a load of sandbags. They will then use those sandbags to hit two targets. The first two tribes to finish win immunity. They are also playing for reward, it’s a very large tarp for the first tribe to finish and a smaller one for the team who comes in second. Daniel sits out for his team, again.
Ika wins, Taku comes in second. Vati will be going to Tribal Council. Two players will be taking a journey. Ika picks Lidia from Vati. They also choose Rocksroy to go on the journey.
At Vati, Daniel says that his head is possibly on the chopping block, he would like a chance to speak to everyone one on one. Later when he speaks to Hai, he tells him that he has his back. Mike on the other hand wants Daniel gone, he tells Chanelle. Daniel only uses one arm and doesn’t compete in challenges, he really is the one with the target on his back. Mike and Hai speak, Hai calls Daniel and Chanelle two weasels in a chicken coup.
Rocksroy and Lidia are on their journey, they are climbing the hill to the top of the summit. He asks her who she thinks will be on the chopping block, and she says she doesn’t know. She is in a decent position, but she doesn’t want to give Rocksroy too much information because she doesn’t know him. They have to separate and make a decision. They were both being cagy with each other, wanting to protect their tribes. They get to protect your vote or risk your vote. They will find out at the next tribal council what the outcome is. Lidia chose to protect her vote, she didn’t feel comfortable giving away the most important thing she has in the game.
Tribal council, Mike says tonight they are going to lose a member of their tribe, but it doesn’t mean they are not strong. Hai says the game is hard, unfortunately, people are being lied to. Daniel says Mike sees this as a team to the very end. Lidia says that Daniel is playing the game, playing up to Mike. Lidia says the person who gets voted out is the person they trust the least.
Time to vote, Mike is first. No immunity idols are played. The first vote is for Chanelle, then Daniel, Chanelle, and Daniel. It is a tie. One vote left, Mike. It is still a tie. They are going to revote, they are going to vote either to evict Chanelle or Daniel.
The first vote, Daniel, Daniel. That’s enough, he is voted out. Daniel tells them well played.
