That’ll lead to Brooke’s desperate explanation and a plea to work past her latest drunken blunder.
Ridge knows Brooke has been wrestling with what happened that night, but he assumed it was because his wife fell off the wagon.
The fact that Brooke was kissing Deacon and waking up in bed next to him – even fully clothed – will be tough for Ridge to accept.
During the week of February 14-18, Brooke and Ridge’s marriage will be at stake.
This union will definitely be in jeopardy as Brooke fights hard for another chance – and Ridge will have to decide if he’s willing to grant it.
What happens if Ridge ultimately determines that’s not something he can really offer Brooke?
If Brooke learns she’s out of chances, she’ll realize it’s just a matter of time until Taylor swoops in and wins Ridge back.
Brooke could eventually find herself in a position where she has to watch Ridge move on.
Brooke might decide to move on too, particularly once she’s got nothing left to lose and can appreciate the devotion Deacon brings to the table.
Deacon may make a romantic grand gesture since he’s holding out hope for a future with Brooke.
Deacon will never give up hope on a real relationship, so we’ll see if that’s something Brooke’s willing to give Deacon down the road.
Until then, Brooke could at least surrender to their spark and sleep with Deacon – for real this time!
Since everyone’s assuming the worst at the moment, Deacon and Brooke might as well go all the way if Ridge wants a divorce.
