The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) relapse may bring Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) fury for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). As Hope’s husband, Liam really should’ve confessed that close call!
B&B fans know Liam came to Brooke’s rescue in a weak moment, so he stopped her from guzzling a glass of vodka.
Unfortunately, Liam decided not to mention the incident to Hope, who would certainly want to know if her mom almost drank alcohol.
Brooke doesn’t want to add to Hope’s already full plate, so she’s counting on Liam to keep his mouth shut.
However, it’s not a good idea for Liam to hide secrets from Hope for any reason.
Regardless of whether Brooke actually relapses at some point, Liam and Hope need to have an honest relationship – especially when it comes to Hope’s vulnerable mother.
There’s just no excuse for Liam keeping quiet about something so important.
Since Brooke nearly drank, her judgment is obviously off right now.
Liam shouldn’t be listening to Brooke on this since he owes Hope the truth.
After all, Liam pointed out that he wouldn’t always be around to stop Brooke from surrendering to temptation.
What happens if Brooke is on her own next time when she downs vodka or another alcoholic beverage that’s nearby?
Brooke could relapse and put herself or others in danger if she gets behind the wheel. This close call with Liam just feels like a setup for something far worse.
If Brooke ultimately drinks again and the result is disastrous, Hope’s going to wish her mom would’ve told her how tempted she was.
If Liam admits the previous close call, Hope’s going to be livid that he didn’t tell her sooner.
Hope may end up feeling like they could’ve gotten Brooke more help and taken her to meetings.
If Liam had just come clean, maybe Brooke could’ve received extra support to prevent what may be her drunken downfall.
