The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) could get a love life reset. Will this stalled Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) story lead to a fresh start with someone else? Let’s talk about where things stand and where they might go from here.
It’s safe to say any momentum in Carter and Paris’ storyline is long gone by now. Paris and Carter’s romance felt forced from the get-go, so will B&B pivot in another direction? It wouldn’t be the first time the writers have done that with Paris’ character.
While Paris was living with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), she crushed hard on Finn. That story ended up going nowhere – and Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) own crush on Paris didn’t go anywhere either.
Since Carter and Paris don’t really seem to be grabbing fans’ attention, the show could shift gears. This is perhaps the perfect chance to do that since there’s been a break in all the Carter, Paris, Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) action.
Could this pause lead to Carter giving up on Paris and realizing his heart lies elsewhere? Carter still has other options like Katie Logan (Heather Tom) or even Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) if the show’s ever willing to reignite a “Quarter” romance.
There’s also the potential for the show to bring on a Zoe Buckingham (last played by Kiara Barnes) recast or maybe a new woman to catch Carter’s eyes. As for Paris, she could easily realize that her feelings for Zende run deeper than she thought.
Would the show be better off focusing on Paris with Zende and trying something else with Carter? Could Carter get a bit of a romantic reset soon? Many viewers wouldn’t be opposed to the idea of a fresh storyline, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
