That bond could lead to trouble if Ridge and Brooke’s marriage doesn’t survive.
Ridge agreed to move back in with Brooke, but he’s been hesitant to fully recommit to her.
It’s clear that Ridge’s lingering feelings for Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) are playing a role in this “Bridge” relationship block.
How can Ridge move forward with Brooke when he’s obviously hung up on his former flame?
Although Ridge loves Brooke, he also loves Taylor and is drawn to the family they’ve built together.
The Forresters are rising up as a very united bunch right now, so that’s affecting Ridge’s heart, too.
What happens if Ridge can’t resist Taylor and continues inching toward a future with her instead?
There may come a point when Brooke has to give up on Ridge, especially if he betrays her on a worse level or just flat-out dumps her.
Regardless, you can bet Brooke will lean on Eric when things get rough.
Eric is always willing to offer a shoulder to cry on – and that could turn out to be a big problem for Donna.
After all, Eric and Donna are going to need some form of drama without Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) around to keep things entertaining.
There’ll have to be some threat to Donna and Eric’s romance, so it makes sense for Brooke to become that threat.
Brooke might be the one person who could truly shake things up and put Eric’s relationship with Donna in jeopardy.
There’s the potential for a great love triangle here – one that could lead to Brooke and Donna doing battle over Eric!
Brooke will need a new romantic direction if Ridge ends up with Taylor, so could she make Eric her backup plan?
