The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) may be the key to Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) CPS caller exposure. Will Douglas play Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) voice sample for Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and get the wheels turning?
In the October 10 episode, Douglas was once again having fun with his voice changer app.
That led to a moment of anger from Thomas, who insisted he’d repeatedly asked Douglas not to use that thing.
Of course, the app is pretty innocent if you’re just a kid playing around like Douglas.
Thomas doesn’t seem like the type to get riled up about harmless pranks.
The real reason for Thomas’ irritation is probably because he doesn’t want Douglas calling attention to the app – especially not in front of Donna, Eric Forrester (John McCook) or anyone else who could figure out Thomas framed Brooke.
Nevertheless, B&B has once again put Douglas in the prime position to help crack a case.
Douglas was the one to reveal that Beth Spencer (River Davidson) was alive – and then he tattled on Brooke for kissing Santa Claus aka Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) on New Year’s Eve.
Now Douglas seems poised to connect the dots and put someone on the path to the truth about the CPS call.
The more Brooke thinks about what went wrong in her marriage, the more likely it becomes that she’ll fixate on all the CPS drama.
Brooke will inevitably realize that had to be the catalyst, but she won’t get why Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is blaming her despite her repeated denials.
At some point, Brooke may pry the truth out of Ridge about hearing the call for himself – though he’d no doubt leave Walter Barnes’ (Steve Richard Harris) name out of it.
That could lead to more questions as Brooke tries to figure out how Ridge could hear her voice if she wasn’t the caller.
Donna may wonder the same thing until Douglas comes along and perhaps plays Brooke’s voice sample for her.
Douglas could prank Donna into thinking she’s hearing Brooke and unlock this mystery.
It could help Donna reach the conclusion that Thomas must’ve downloaded the same voice changer app and used it to dupe Ridge.
Douglas might even play the sample for Grandma Brooke herself and leave her on a mission to present a new theory to Ridge!
