The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Eric Forrester (John McCook) will warn Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to forgive Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) since this couple has moved past forbidden kisses before.
Once the truth unravels, Eric will remain on Team “Bridge” as usual and will try to help the two of them repair the damage.
Of course, Eric might start by reminding Ridge of how much he’s been through with Brooke.
Is Ridge really going to let one drunken kiss derail his whole future with Brooke?
After all, Ridge got drunk and wound up married to Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) in Vegas!
B&B later undid that and made it so Ridge’s marriage to Brooke was still legit, but the point stands.
Brooke and Ridge have overcome far worse obstacles, so it’s silly to act like this one smooch is the ultimate deal-breaker.
Naturally, there are countless other examples of Ridge and Brooke moving beyond betrayals – like all Ridge’s forbidden kisses with Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) or Brooke’s most recent forbidden kiss with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).
It just seems like Brooke and Deacon’s lip lock is much ado about nothing!
The only difference is that Ridge hates Deacon perhaps more than anyone right now – and Brooke has repeatedly ignored her husband’s warnings about him.
However, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) could end up being the real problem here.
Brooke’s betrayal may allow Ridge to let go of what’s holding him back and fully embrace a new path forward with Taylor.
Regardless, Eric will be rooting for Ridge and Brooke to figure things out.
Since Eric was able to get past everything that happened between Quinn and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), he’ll hope Ridge and Brooke can do the same.
It’s possible Eric will get his wish eventually, but the show definitely seems interested in exploring Ridge and Taylor’s connection on a deeper level.
That could leave Brooke out of luck in the meantime!
