The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, April 8, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) confronted Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) about the shooting while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) cried over his forever Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) love.
At the hospital on Friday’s B&B episode, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) kept wondering how this could’ve happened and pushed Steffy to rest now. He told Steffy she would get better and that he’d be right there.
In the waiting area, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) insisted that Sheila was never a mother to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and never could be. Li refused to change her mind about letting Sheila see Finn and felt Sheila already said her goodbyes when she gave him away.
Taylor tried to intervene and settle everyone down, but Li wanted her wishes to be respected. She said to let her be the mother she’d always been to Finn.
Over with Liam, he assured Thomas that Steffy loved her kids too much to leave them. Liam felt confident that Steffy would pull through.
Liam eventually joined Ridge in Steffy’s hospital room and looked stunned at the sight of her. Once Ridge gave Liam some alone time with Steffy, Liam thought back to all their milestones and memories. He wanted to make more and knew Steffy had to be around for those.
Liam refused to accept a world without Steffy in it. He praised Steffy for being a super mom and was so grateful to raise Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) with her.
A classic “Steam” song was heard as a montage of Steffy and Liam’s most romantic moments played. Liam cried as he pushed Steffy to come back and said he’d love her always.
Ridge joined Sheila, Taylor and Li as the tension ramped up. Li complained about Sheila pressuring her and warned Taylor not to tell her how to feel. She said there was nothing any of the Forresters could do and argued that Finn was dead to all of them!
Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) ultimately showed up and got an introduction to Li. He also learned Sheila was Finn’s birth mother and mentioned that all the evidence pointed to a robbery. Baker wondered if anyone might’ve had a vendetta, but Li said her son was beloved by all.
After Baker insisted the perp would be brought to justice, Li decided to head out. She pushed the Forresters to just take care of Steffy and vowed to take care of everything for Finn herself.
In a private moment, Sheila fumed over Li keeping her away from Finn’s body. Thomas cornered Sheila and pushed her to leave, but Sheila refused to be denied access for a final goodbye.
After Thomas brought up the booze swap secret, he didn’t want Sheila thinking he was on her side. In fact, Thomas knew what Sheila was capable of and had to wonder if she had something to do with what went down tonight.
Thomas demanded to know if Sheila was involved at all with what happened to his sister, so Sheila was in a tight spot. We’ll provide updates as other B&B news comes in.
