The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, December 9, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) was exposed in a Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) encounter after Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) said goodbye to his lover. Here’s how all the B&B drama went down.
At Forrester Creations, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) gathered with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Eric Forrester (John McCook) after being summoned by Steffy for an ASAP meeting.
Once Steffy arrived with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), she said they had some shocking news and dropped the bomb that Sheila was alive.
Finn backed Steffy up and insisted they had proof that led them to believe Sheila wasn’t really dead.
Steffy and Finn revealed that they talked to the police, so the forensics team was looking into this.
Hope wondered where Sheila might be hiding out, so Steffy said they asked Deacon the same thing.
Although Hope immediately defended her dad, Steffy mentioned how Deacon was once at Il Giardino with Sheila looking close.
Hope argued that was a long time ago and knew Deacon wouldn’t have contact with Sheila now.
Finn and Steffy admitted that Deacon said he hadn’t seen Sheila and had no idea where she might’ve gone.
At Deacon’s place, Sheila returned wearing her blonde wig and glasses. Deacon flipped out and revealed that Finn was there last night along with Steffy.
Sheila reeled as Deacon said Finn figured out her toe was cut off, not chewed off by a bear.
Now that Steffy and Finn knew Sheila was alive, Deacon was adamant that she needed to “get the hell out of LA and never come back!”
Sheila pointed out the theory couldn’t be proven, but Deacon warned that the cops would inevitably reopen the investigation.
The walls were closing in, so Deacon felt there was no way out for Sheila.
Deacon didn’t want to see Sheila go down, but he couldn’t prop her up anymore.
The cops were going to find Sheila as far as Deacon was concerned, so he ordered her to leave today.
If this didn’t threaten Sheila, she said she’d be so proud of her brilliant son for putting it all together.
Sheila understood why Deacon wanted her to leave, but she warned that she wasn’t going down – and neither was Deacon.
Sheila also talked about how she appreciated Deacon for giving her a place to stay and human contact.
Since Sheila wasn’t going to betray that, she said no one would ever know where she was staying all this time.
Deacon hugged Sheila and thought it was the biggest mistake he ever made letting her stay there.
Sheila didn’t think it was all bad and called Deacon “Daddy” before they shared a kiss.
Before Sheila left, Deacon confessed he was thinking about a “smoking hot redhead” who followed him back there for the hottest hookup ever.
Deacon had become oddly used to Sheila and would miss having her around.
Sheila assured Deacon she’d be fine, but he feared this would be the last time he saw her without bars between them.
However, Sheila insisted she wouldn’t go back to prison and thought it was best if Deacon didn’t know where she was headed.
After Deacon wished Sheila good luck, Sheila said she’d take it and gave him one last kiss goodbye.
Once Sheila wheeled her suitcase out, Deacon locked the door and looked pensive.
At Il Giardino, Steffy told Finn that they had to keep their guard up and protect their family, but she refused to let Sheila steal their joy.
Steffy was also glad that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) were out of town, especially since Sheila previously thought she was best friends with Taylor.
When Steffy asked how Finn was dealing with his birth mom being alive, Finn suggested Steffy knew how he felt.
Although Finn might’ve been able to get past Sheila shooting him, he could never get over her shooting Steffy.
Finn assured Steffy that the cops would catch Sheila, but Steffy thought back to almost losing Finn forever.
That led to some Monaco memories as Steffy remembered getting her miracle reunion with Finn there.
When Sheila was holding Finn hostage, he knew he had to get his strength back so he could reunite with Steffy and their family.
Steffy cried happy tears and reminded Finn of her love before stepping away to call Taylor.
While Steffy was distracted on the phone, she bumped into disguised Sheila and caused a spill.
Steffy apologized as she tried to clean up the mess, but then she saw that the woman in front of her was missing a toe.
As Steffy looked up and met Sheila’s eyes, she gasped in realization and uttered Sheila’s name. That led to a tense stare-down between Sheila and Steffy.
