The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, January 14, teases that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will be torn over some Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) suspicions – and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will warn her father not to trust Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Steffy knows something huge must’ve gone down since Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) felt the need to come over and mark her mom’s territory.
Since Hope has become even more protective of Brooke’s relationship, Steffy will apparently quiz Ridge about what’s going on.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will be curious as well, so Ridge may decide he can’t keep his kids out of the loop any longer.
Whatever the case, Steffy and Thomas will ultimately become privy to Brooke slipping up and breaking her sobriety on New Year’s Eve.
Of course, Steffy will act like she’s been proven right. She felt confident Brooke was going to let Ridge down again – and now Brooke has done just that.
Ridge, on the other hand, may argue that it was a simple mistake that even Brooke herself can’t explain.
It’ll be Steffy and Thomas who work on nailing down a reason for Brooke’s relapse. After Thomas and Steffy do some theorizing, they’ll settle on Deacon as the most logical trigger.
Steffy and Thomas will think Deacon must’ve played a role in Brooke’s relapse, so they’ll share that idea with Ridge.
However, Ridge won’t be as certain since Brooke keeps blaming herself and claims Deacon wasn’t around by the time she drank. He’ll defend Brooke, but he’ll have some worries deep down.
Steffy and Thomas may chip away at Ridge’s trust, so he could be left wondering if Brooke was really all alone that night.
Other B&B spoilers say Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) will make another promise to ruin Brooke’s life.
Since Brooke seems so keen on destroying Sheila and what she holds dear, Sheila will think fair is fair. She’ll hope she’s well on her way to destroying any hope Brooke has of true happiness.
Sheila will start mulling over how she can up the ante in this revenge scheme. She’ll know she should be careful, but being careful has never been Sheila’s strong suit!
That’s why Sheila is going to raise red flags during the week of January 17-21 as she grills Taylor about Brooke’s latest problems.
Until then, Sheila will revel in what she’s accomplished so far and look forward to even more destruction. .
