The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Friday, January 28, tease that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will make a secret pact while Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) spy games heat up.
At Il Giardino, Hope will continue her conversation with Deacon, who now realizes his daughter knows the truth about New Year’s Eve.
Hope just confronted Deacon about the kiss and his overnight stay, but she’s wondering what exactly her father plans to do next.
Of course, it’s easy to see why Hope would be concerned.
Deacon has been a bit of a wildcard in the past and clearly still has deep feelings for Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Hope doesn’t want to see Brooke’s marriage blown to bits, so she’ll count on Deacon to keep his mouth shut and avoid stirring up more trouble.
Fortunately, Deacon will assure Hope that he has no intention of making life more difficult for Brooke.
As far as what Deacon plans to do, he may promise he’s not going to exploit the kiss or gloat to Ridge.
Deacon won’t want Hope to worry, so they’ll make a pact regarding the New Year’s Eve secret and vow to keep it buried.
Meanwhile, Sheila will keep watching and trying to listen nearby.
Sheila’s struggling to eavesdrop since the restaurant is rather noisy and Hope keeps whispering to Deacon.
That won’t stop Sheila from working to uncover the truth about that fateful night, but she may not learn what she desperately wants to know.
Nevertheless, Sheila’s spy games will prove entertaining as she does whatever she can to seek answers.
Other B&B spoilers say Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will notice Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) seems upset.
Thomas may bring up Douglas’ “I saw Grandma kissing Santa Claus” claims again and leave Douglas eager to change the subject.
Douglas was previously excited over the funny story, so Thomas may wonder what changed.
That could lead to Douglas admitting that Brooke said he should forget about the kiss and focus on the future instead of the past.
Thomas will see how much Douglas is struggling, so he’ll get curious and increasingly worried.
Once Thomas tells Douglas it’s OK to come clean, he’ll give his son the green light to offer more details – like the fact that the kiss happened on New Year’s Eve.
Douglas will tell the whole tale and illuminate things a bit more for Thomas once Monday, January 31, rolls around, but Friday’s cliffhanger should prove crucial.
