The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Friday, January 28 Recap – Grace Spies Carter & Paris Kiss - Douglas Says Deacon is Santa

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, January 28, reveals that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) identified Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) as Santa while Grace Buckingham (Cassandra Creech) spied Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Paris Buckingham’s (Diamond White) kiss.

At the cliff house on Friday’s B&B episode, Douglas was excited over seeing a bald eagle through the window with his binoculars.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) realized it was actually a seagull, so he teased Douglas along with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) about needing to get his eyes checked.

Thomas and Steffy tried to act like Douglas was seeing things when he saw Grandma kissing Santa, too.

However, Douglas acted uncomfortable – and later, he admitted to Thomas that he wasn’t really supposed to talk about that. Besides, Douglas insisted that he already told Thomas the story.

Thomas realized Douglas truly saw something, but Douglas said Grandma told him it was in the past and that there was no need to talk about it anymore.

When Thomas assumed it must’ve been Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) since Santa was busy on Christmas Eve, Douglas said it was New Year’s Eve instead.

After Douglas admitted he mostly just saw Santa’s hat, Thomas pushed him to think back and try really hard to remember the face.

Thomas suggested it could be one of Santa’s helpers.

Douglas had a flashback and blurted out that it was Mommy’s Daddy, so Thomas was taken aback over Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) kissing Deacon.

At Il Giardino, Deacon assured Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) that he wasn’t going to do anything to jeopardize Brooke’s marriage.

If Ridge left Brooke, that would be Deacon’s foot in the door, but he didn’t want it to happen like this.

Hope realized that Deacon really did love Brooke and appreciated what he was doing for her mom.

After Hope took off, Sheila waltzed over and suggested she couldn’t help overhearing that Deacon and Brooke were drinking buddies.

Sheila feigned innocence as she asked what could’ve made Brooke fall off the wagon.

Sheila flashed back to her Champagne label swap scheme and thought to herself that her plan actually worked.

Sheila suggested that “karma was a bitch” and assumed Brooke must’ve been a mean drunk. Deacon argued that the setback wouldn’t define Brooke and didn’t think his former flame’s world would come crumbling down.

At the cabin, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) knew Brooke would feel better if she were honest with Ridge, but she also knew Ridge hated Deacon like the wind blows.

Liam understood Brooke’s desire to just forget it ever happened, but Brooke said it was hard to forget.

Brooke remained worried about Douglas and the possibility he would blow things up. She felt guilty about having that chat with Douglas, but Liam acted like it was fine.

Hope returned home soon after and admitted she had a talk with Deacon, who promised not to tell anyone about the kiss.

Brooke thought that was good news, but she was still concerned over her sweet, honest little grandson.

Hope acted like all Douglas would ever remember is Santa’s magical kiss and hugged her mom.

Meanwhile, Thomas embraced a distraught Douglas following his confession at the cliff house.

At Forrester Creations, Grace wondered if Paris had seen Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) to ask how his date went.

Grace ranted about how this man who was about to propose was already out on a date with another woman.

Paris argued that it was a good reset for them and defended her connection to Zende.

Paris just wanted more freedom, but Grace acted like playing the field would only end in disappointment.

Grace didn’t think Paris could pick a better man than Zende, but Paris flashed back to her kiss with Carter.

When Grace asked if there was a reason why Zende was a bad match for Paris, Carter interrupted.

Grace said they were talking about Paris turning down Zende’s proposal, but Paris pointed out that wasn’t public knowledge.

After Grace asked if Carter knew about it, Paris steered the conversation back to how she wasn’t ready for a commitment.

Grace praised all Zende’s wonderful attributes and got Carter to agree he was a great guy.

Although Grace wasn’t trying to marry Paris off, she argued that a man like Zende doesn’t come along every day.

Grace once again pushed Carter to agree and urged Paris to listen to Carter if she wouldn’t listen to her mother.

Once Grace left, Carter and Paris acknowledged how hard Grace was lobbying her daughter to be with Zende.

Nevertheless, Paris and Carter couldn’t stop thinking about each other.

Paris wondered if part of Carter knew this was worth pursuing, but he worried about the reactions their romance would bring.

As Paris and Carter got swept up in another kiss, Grace came back and gawked at them from the design office doorway.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Grace will have a thing or two to tell Carter in the coming episodes, so stay tuned!
