Brooke still isn’t telling the whole story when it comes to her shocking downward spiral on New Year’s Eve.
Brooke hasn’t come clean about Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) role in that fateful night, but she was at least honest about falling off the wagon.
That’s important since now it’s time for Brooke to focus on the difficult road ahead.
Brooke needs to be able to look at a bottle of vodka without seeming like she wants to guzzle it on the spot.
Since Brooke’s inner demons have come roaring back, Ridge will want to help her get a grip on those.
The first step is admitting you have a problem – and Brooke will indeed make that admission at her upcoming AA meeting.
Brooke will be full of shame as she sobs over throwing away all her progress, but she just has to start fresh with her sobriety and try to avoid temptation.
However, Brooke’s secrets will weigh on her and make this journey awfully difficult.
Ridge and Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) upcoming questions are going to make things especially tough for Brooke, who’ll no doubt wish she could cope with a drink or two.
Of course, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) might also arrange for a slipup in the coming episodes.
Sheila certainly isn’t done with her plan to destroy Brooke’s life, so anything can happen as this storyline heats up.
For now, Brooke will attend this AA meeting with Ridge and try to concentrate on her recovery despite her Deacon deception.
