The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, October 21, reveals that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) faced girlfriend questions – and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) couldn’t forget Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) despite his wonderful family reunion.
At the cliff house, Thomas announced his arrival in case he was interrupting another one of Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) steamy moments.
Steffy said Thomas should wait until he had a girlfriend for her to walk in on and asked about his dating life.
However, Thomas wasn’t seeing anyone and said he was just focused on Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) outside of work.
Steffy was too happy to give Thomas a hard time and grew excited when Ridge came home with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
The four of them exchanged hugs as they celebrated this family reunion, which was everything Taylor ever wanted.
Thomas pushed Taylor and Ridge to recap the story of how they reunited in Aspen, so they told it as flashbacks played.
Once Thomas zoned out, he thought back to making the bogus CPS call and asked about Brooke showing up on the trip.
Ridge didn’t see why they should talk about Brooke when he was back with his family.
Taylor and Ridge cozied up to each other on the sofa, but Thomas seemed a bit nervous about his secret.
At one point, Ridge stepped away from family time and noticed Brooke’s picture on some Forrester promotional materials.
Once Thomas and the others got Ridge’s attention, he acted like he was just stepping back and taking in the moment.
Taylor talked about Ridge proving that anything was possible when he went after her on that mountain.
After Taylor said true love wins in the end, she gushed over what a miracle this was for their family.
Thomas thought to himself that it was indeed a miracle, but he was obviously thinking about how he’d orchestrated it.
At Brooke’s place, she spoke to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) about Ridge texting that he was coming back from Aspen.
Unfortunately, Brooke knew that Ridge wasn’t alone since Taylor was returning, too.
Hope thought maybe it was a good sign that Ridge texted and was coming over.
However, Brooke couldn’t figure out why Ridge left her and worried her marriage could really be beyond repair.
Hope urged Brooke not to give up since she was Ridge’s wife, so Brooke decided her daughter was right.
Although Brooke didn’t want a war with Taylor and her kids, she wanted her husband back.
Brooke acted like Taylor, Steffy and Thomas didn’t understand her deep connection to Ridge, but she warned that this wouldn’t be the end of their love story.
At Forrester Creations on Friday’s B&B episode, Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) helped secure a deal for Katie Logan (Heather Tom), so he hoped this meant she was starting to trust him.
Justin knew he had a lot to make up for and was happy to be using his law degree for something good – for helping people without tearing them down.
Katie said she liked seeing Justin like this, so he thanked her before dashing off to get some forms elsewhere.
After Katie daydreamed about her kiss with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), he caught up with her in the main office.
Carter realized Katie had been thinking about him and admitted he asked Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) to let him know when her meeting was done.
Later, Carter talked about his clean break from Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) before Katie said she hadn’t connected with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) as a couple for quite a while.
Katie mentioned how Quinn risked everything for Carter, who shook her to the core and created a seismic shift in her life. When Katie asked if the chemistry was that hot, Carter seemed amused.
Carter ultimately confessed that he’d noticed Katie before now, so he rattled off compliments before pulling her into a kiss.
