The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, October 7, reveals that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) kissed Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to seal their reunion while Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) pushed the pilot to fly back to Aspen ASAP.
In Aspen, Ridge begged Taylor not to run, but he insisted he’d follow her to the end of the world if she did.
Taylor was frustrated over Ridge always knowing the exact romantic things to say, but she wasn’t falling for it this time.
Ridge assured Taylor that he wanted to heal their family and have a future together, but Taylor took off running again.
Once Taylor finally slowed down, she pushed Ridge to stop since she knew how this story ended.
However, Ridge argued that he’d been doing a lot of soul-searching and couldn’t do this anymore.
After Ridge said he was tired of all the lying, he suggested that their family was robbed. Ridge hoped to get the future they always wanted – and he only wanted it with Taylor forever.
After Ridge thought back to Brooke’s alleged CPS call, he admitted that something did happen with Brooke.
Ridge claimed that he simply saw the light and recalled how that pinecone hit him while he was out on Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) terrace.
That led to Ridge realizing he wanted a future with Taylor, so she had to laugh at the pinecone being the reason why.
Although Ridge knew Taylor was scared, he said he wasn’t the same man who’d bounce between two women anymore.
Now Ridge was standing on a mountain telling Taylor that he wasn’t going to let her down again.
Ridge said he was a better man because of Taylor and reiterated that he wanted to be with her for always.
Inside Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) house, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) muttered to herself and hoped that Taylor would listen to whatever Ridge had to say.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) called, but Steffy didn’t know where Ridge and Taylor had dashed off to.
Since Taylor was so guarded right now, Steffy worried that her mom wouldn’t be ready to hear Ridge out.
Thomas didn’t think Taylor would turn Ridge down when it was actually happening, but Steffy wasn’t as certain of that.
Taylor didn’t want to be burned again because of Brooke, so Steffy had plenty of concerns.
At Brooke’s place, she wrapped up a concerned call with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and knew she had to get to Aspen as soon as possible.
Once Brooke packed a bag and dressed for the mountains, she gazed at a framed photo of herself with Ridge briefly.
Brooke also called Ridge, but she got his voicemail and chose not to leave another message.
After Brooke made it to the Forrester jet, she told the pilot to get the plane back in the air and return to Aspen ASAP.
The pilot arranged everything quickly, but it was still happening too slow for Brooke since she was so on edge.
Although they were at the mercy of air traffic control, the pilot assured Brooke that he’d get her to Aspen as soon as he could.
Brooke thanked the pilot since her future could depend on it!
While Brooke waited for takeoff, she thought back to her earlier conversation with Ridge about the CPS call.
Brooke also remembered how Ridge claimed he forgot something at the office and bolted out the door.
At the Forrester mansion, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) turned down Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) trip out of town since Brooke needed the jet more than them.
Eric couldn’t understand why Ridge would leave LA without telling Brooke, but Donna said it was so much worse since he left to track down his ex-wife!
Steffy and Thomas had been working overtime to reunite Ridge with Taylor, so Donna feared they might actually have succeeded.
Next, Brooke was still awaiting takeoff when Donna called her phone. After Brooke answered, she offered updates on her flight and complained about the outside forces trying to work against her marriage.
Brooke knew she had to get to Aspen and be with Ridge right away.
Over with Taylor, she punched Ridge in the shoulder and admitted she thought he believed what he was saying.
Even so, Taylor wondered what would happen tomorrow and the next day.
After Taylor pushed Ridge to clarify that he wasn’t going back to Brooke ever, Ridge insisted he wasn’t going back to that life.
Now that Ridge had seen the light, he saw a future with Taylor.
“I’m here for us…and I want you to be here for us, too,” Ridge said on Friday’s B&B episode.
When Ridge asked if Taylor could do that, she whispered she was sorry in a soapy rejection fake-out.
Moments later, Taylor asked what took Ridge so long and kissed him passionately overlooking the mountain view.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Brooke’s imminent arrival will definitely shake things up, so stay tuned!
