The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, September 30, teases that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will comfort Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) over Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) “lie.” Thomas will beg his dad to dump his wife and reunite with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), so Ridge will have to give the idea some thought.
Walter Barnes (Steve Richard Harris) was able to access Douglas Forrester’s (Django Ferri) closed case file and played the attached recording.
That led to Ridge realizing Brooke was the one who called Child Protective Services on Thomas – or so it seemed!
In reality, Ridge and Brooke appear to be the victims of Thomas’ latest trick.
The show’s been hinting at Thomas’ sneaky turn for a while now, but it looks like he’s officially gone over the sinister edge again.
B&B fans will recall that Douglas was playing with a voice changer app at one point.
If you have a voice sample from someone, you can make that app say whatever you want in that same voice.
The recording Walter played definitely sounded a little off. It felt like the kind of thing an app would create – like the voice was a bit slower and less emotive than an actual human’s would be.
The caller also offered the name Brooke Logan, but wouldn’t Brooke have given Forrester as her last name?
There are some red flags that scream Thomas framed Brooke to drive Ridge away from her.
Friday’s episode will bring Ridge’s anger and devastation.
It’ll sink in for Ridge that Brooke seemingly lied when he called her before – even though that’s not actually what happened.
Thomas will comfort Ridge and urge him to see that he doesn’t have to live this way.
Taylor is a much better option as far as Thomas is concerned, so he’ll push Ridge to divorce Brooke and put his family back together with Taylor instead.
Meanwhile, Steffy will convince Taylor that a trip to Aspen is exactly what she needs.
Now that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) has encouraged Steffy to check out his home that’s for sale there, Steffy has a great excuse to take Taylor on Bill’s jet.
Once Steffy gets Taylor on board, she’ll let Ridge and Thomas know what’s going on.
Steffy may also hint that Taylor is on the verge of throwing in the towel and argue that Ridge needs to make his move while he still can.
In the meantime, Steffy will hope she can get Taylor to relax in Aspen and see that Ridge is the romantic path forward for her.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will give Brooke a chance to confess over the phone soon, but he’s not going to like her answer!
