The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) mannequin may order Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) death again if Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) disturbing hallucinations return.
B&B fans know that mannequin recently popped back up, but Thomas insists he wasn’t the one who brought it to the design office.
Whether that’s true or not, the mannequin has indeed become part of the storyline once more.
With that in mind, we have to consider why.
What’s the point of introducing the mannequin again in a story where Thomas is clearly struggling to control his obsession?
All signs point to Thomas getting worse, so we have to assume the mannequin could be part of how he spins out.
Although Thomas hit his head and was suffering from a brain injury when the original mannequin storyline was going on, the show mostly seems to be ignoring that now.
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) was lumping the mannequin drama in with all Thomas’ other fixated behavior, which makes sense from her perspective.
Regardless of the reasons for Thomas going off the rails, Brooke is just focused on preventing a repeat performance.
Unfortunately, that could easily be where this story is headed now that the mannequin is back in the mix.
Thomas has been fantasizing about kissing Hope, but he’s also having to remind himself that it’s only in his head.
B&B could be setting up some blurred lines between fantasy and reality.
The mannequin could fit right in with that idea if it starts coming back to life in Thomas’ visions.
Since the mannequin previously urged Thomas to get rid of Liam permanently, could the writers revisit that notion?
Liam keeps talking about how dangerous Thomas is and has been freaked out since Hope isn’t listening to him.
Hope would certainly feel guilty if she ignored Liam’s warnings and then he wound up seriously injured because of Thomas.
It could happen if the mannequin wants Liam dead like before and Thomas feels compelled to follow orders.
Thomas is sinking further and further into his obsession, so more troubling behavior’s going to follow.
That could mean bad news for Liam depending on how all the mannequin chaos plays out, so stick with us for updates.
