Some mannequin mentions are coming up during Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) confrontation with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Brooke will raise more concerns about Thomas’ behavior and will run down the list of troubling incidents from his past.
Of course, Brooke will bring up the Hope mannequin and how Thomas couldn’t separate fantasy from reality.
Although Thomas wound up needing emergency brain surgery around that time, Brooke will still think it’s a valid part of his obsession story.
Meanwhile, Hope will be taken aback when her past collides with her present.
The October 27 episode will bring back an unpleasant memory, so could the sight of the Hope mannequin prompt it?
That makes sense considering Thomas and Hope are getting ready for the Hope for the Future fashion preview.
The mannequin may play some practical role in preparing for that event, but the sight of it could prove unsettling and remind Hope of Thomas’ more troubling days.
B&B fans will recall how the Hope mannequin came to life in Thomas’ mind.
Thomas thought Hope was telling him to get rid of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) permanently, so some pretty sinister stuff was happening with that mannequin at the time.
It’s easy to see how that could stir up some bad vibes for Hope, but Thomas may offer reassurance if she seems upset.
Although Thomas will keep trying to play the part of someone who’s perfectly fine, his behavior could become increasingly disturbing.
We already know Thomas went as far as faking Brooke’s CPS call, so he’s still capable of deeply devious plans.
Just how far off the rails will Thomas go in the coming weeks or months?
Time will tell, but Hope will need to stay on guard.
