The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) Italy ex could come to Los Angeles. Will a new obstacle land in Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) path as a result?
During the week of October 24-28, Hope will be stunned when her past and present collide.
B&B spoilers say Hope’s history will somehow catch up with her in the present day, so we have to think about what that actually means.
The show is being intentionally vague here, so what surprise are they trying to hide?
It’s possible that Hope’s past is referring to a former flame, especially since we know a new character will get in the mix soon.
Fall preview spoilers promised a new face in LA, but this person could easily be quite familiar to Hope.
We don’t know much about Hope’s time away in Italy, so she might have an ex who’ll shake things up.
Thomas already has Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to contend with, but he probably thinks he’s making great strides in his plan to win Hope over.
There’s no denying that Thomas is pulling Hope closer now that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) is living at the Forrester mansion.
Hope has been spending a lot of extra time with Thomas since she stays overnight sometimes – not to mention all the collaborating they do on the Hope for the Future line.
In Thomas’ eyes, he probably believes Liam is a temporary hurdle and that he’ll have a happy “Thope” family eventually.
Now that Thomas has taken another sinister turn with this CPS call drama, there’s the potential for him to go off the rails even further – especially when it comes to his obsession with Hope.
The show seems poised to lean into that fixation, so it could become a real problem for Thomas if he has more competition.
How will Thomas react if Hope’s handsome and charming ex-boyfriend suddenly enters the picture?
That’s the kind of thing that could really drive Thomas off the deep end depending on how far the writers want to take this.
Of course, it’s possible Hope’s past will come in the form of an old female friend instead.
Then again, maybe Hope will simply feel a sense of déjà vu regarding Thomas and become more concerned that history will repeat itself.
Whatever the case, it’s at least worth considering the idea that Hope has a former flame who could throw Thomas for a loop – and Liam too for that matter!
